Re: Happy birthday INVUJerry!

Thanks y’all! It was a calm day. I got called back into work today but I still managed to get some stuff done at home. Last week I finally hooked up the power in the garage I had electricians send out there like 3 years ago. It’s really nice having a reliable source of power now.

I ended up buying a camper with my stimulus money. https://imgur.com/a/hAdffjS Ha. Nice buy mine. We recently bought a camper as well. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk Thanks homie. I haven’t posted on Facebook yet because I don’t want my mom to see it. I love her, but I don’t want her thinking...

Re: Random posting

Well, thanks to Facebook I found the old owner of my NYG today. He was very happy to hear the car is still around, even if it’s not currently running.

I decided after that to go outside and clean out my garage. Ended up hurting my back but I got the confetti seats cleaned up again.

Re: ATTENTION WHORES, NO MODS ALLOWED!!!

I definitely gained some weight since I’ve been off work for a while and have had a slight uptick in drinking. I’m still less than my heaviest but damn.

Doesn’t look like I’ll be working this week so I plan on finally getting my ass in gear and working on some of my cars.

Re: Avoid Grubhub

There’s only 2 places we really order out from, a pizza place and a Chinese food place. But since the Chinese food place is next to a grocery store that sells beer, I usually go and pick it up. Lately the Chinese food place is only taking orders over the phone and having you pay with a card, and the...

Re: Avoid Grubhub

I’m not quite sure how grubhub is being paid for a free delivery, but the drivers now get a few cents per mile, plus a few cents per minute for drive time. Most rely on tips. Now that people are opting for contactless delivery a lot of people aren’t tipping, since they don’t need to see the driver f...

So Monday I’m supposed to be on call for work. I’m the farthest away (90 minutes) but I’m also the only person that knows how to punch down phones, terminate fiber, and install the AV system at work, so it’s a 25% possibility I’ll be called in. So I figure I’ll wake up when everyone shows up, make c...

Re: Random posting

So, how about this coronavirus y'all?! This is insane, I'm off until April 13th at the earliest. Thankfully, my mortgage company was able to defer my payments until June. This is probably the scariest time of my life. Not necessarily for me, but for my older family members, and for the economy at la...

I did have to go get a salvage title. I would have to get an enhanced inspection done to put it back on the road but the car isn’t in the best of shape. I bought it to be a donor for Jonny’s car and now it’ll get to fulfill that prophecy.

Re: Avoid Grubhub

I guess it depends on where you live and what you order. My step son and wife have used grub hub at our house with no problem. Mostly because Christy was really sick and didn’t feel well enough to drive. I also have a friend who delivers for door dash in Maryland, he said he loves doing it. Most of ...

Re: Random posting

A few weeks ago a cop backed into our $200 PT Cruiser. A 2gn guy did me a favor and wrote the estimate up pretty high so it would be totaled. I bought the car back and ended up with $2000 in my pocket. I ended up buying a 2000 suburban. It has a lot of miles and some rocker rust but the interior is ...

True, but just saying sometimes a little bit of foreign design and innovation helps the home team design and build something better. The dart was a neat car just not what America wanted at the time.

My family really liked the 2 eagle Premiers we had that were based off Renault cars. Hopefully it gets some innovation and maybe a nice small hatchback with a dodge moniker.

So I had tried drilling out the rear 2gn hoses to fit the 1gn banjo bolt and it didnt work as well as planned. I was able to take it for a small trip down the road for the first time in 16 months. I’m working late this week so I’ll have it finished up Friday after work.

Re: Random posting

Currently Frank’s car is the best condition 2gn I own. I’m hesitant to say best condition car since my van from Texas is still mainly rust free. And yes, it’ll be taken care of. Jonny’s car is going to get lifted and more than likely 2.4 and 3.94 swapped so I can use it in a gambler 500 race. It’s p...

So I ended up getting Frank’s (racer12306) 2gn off of him. It took us 3 hours to load the car onto the trailer I had rented to come get it. The rear brakes were locked up so I lined it up as best I could and tried using a come-along to drag it onto the trailer. I watched frank enter beast mode and h...

Yeah it’s the shiny base coat with a colored clear. But I painted my calipers with the same paint and they’ve been fine. If you can find a set, stock magnum springs would work great with that setup. For what it’s worth, you can currently buy a programmer for that car, and there are plenty of people on Facebook that can either make a tune for you, or help you along to do it yourself. With the comp 400 cam I’d recommend...

Turns out it wasn’t the starter after all. This wire was corroded and caused the car not to start. Stole a wire from a spare harness and spliced it in and the car has been good to go. When I had this car put together by Ryan (a23danger) he painted some stuff under the hood. Nothing held up. So I’ll ...

Damn, what a shame, that car was in pretty good shape at one point. It needs a starter, got one from ...

I have a SOHC 12 valve version of that motor in my 89 caravan. It has around 250k miles on it and it’s still going. The major issues got fixed around 1994. That motor makes pretty good power and will handle quite a bit of abuse. The only difficult part I would imagine is like any FWD V6 car, very cr...
