Re: Random posting

So I had tried drilling out the rear 2gn hoses to fit the 1gn banjo bolt and it didnt work as well as planned. I was able to take it for a small trip down the road for the first time in 16 months. I’m working late this week so I’ll have it finished up Friday after work.

Re: Random posting

Currently Frank’s car is the best condition 2gn I own. I’m hesitant to say best condition car since my van from Texas is still mainly rust free. And yes, it’ll be taken care of. Jonny’s car is going to get lifted and more than likely 2.4 and 3.94 swapped so I can use it in a gambler 500 race. It’s p...

Re: Random posting

So I ended up getting Frank’s (racer12306) 2gn off of him. It took us 3 hours to load the car onto the trailer I had rented to come get it. The rear brakes were locked up so I lined it up as best I could and tried using a come-along to drag it onto the trailer. I watched frank enter beast mode and h...

There are tuning options available. Syked ECU tuning offers a programmer for our cars now.

Re: Random posting

Yeah it’s the shiny base coat with a colored clear. But I painted my calipers with the same paint and they’ve been fine. I think all the aluminum parts weren’t prepped well or primered causing the issue. I’m going to get another valve cover and intake manifold and try my hand at painting them. I lik...

Re: Cylinder head upgrade questions

If you can find a set, stock magnum springs would work great with that setup. For what it’s worth, you can currently buy a programmer for that car, and there are plenty of people on Facebook that can either make a tune for you, or help you along to do it yourself. With the comp 400 cam I’d recommend...

Re: Random posting

This was duplicolor metalcast paint, and I’m not sure what he used on the intake manifold. Either way I’m going to re do everything. Gasket between the turbo and the o2 housing shit the bed this week so I’ll be replacing that tomorrow along with the crank and cam sensors if I can get one to my local...

Re: Random posting

Turns out it wasn’t the starter after all. This wire was corroded and caused the car not to start. Stole a wire from a spare harness and spliced it in and the car has been good to go. When I had this car put together by Ryan (a23danger) he painted some stuff under the hood. Nothing held up. So I’ll ...

Re: Random posting

Damn, what a shame, that car was in pretty good shape at one point. The first thing I noticed majorly was the driver's front tire being bald, probably needs an alignment and some suspension parts as well. In the land of Jerry: I was just working on my SRT yesterday. It needs a starter, got one from ...

Re: Random posting

I have a SOHC 12 valve version of that motor in my 89 caravan. It has around 250k miles on it and it’s still going. The major issues got fixed around 1994. That motor makes pretty good power and will handle quite a bit of abuse. The only difficult part I would imagine is like any FWD V6 car, very cr...

I was hoping to give you some comforting words at the photo shoot but thinking back they may have come off wrong. I currently own 11. The silver car in the background was Scott’s 01 RT that was very rusty and I’m parting out. Christy hit a tire tread on 495 around midnight on Monday night. I hacked a radiator into the car to drive it home. Last night I vent the core support straight. I wanted to get a new front end for the car but now I guess I need to lol.

Re: Random posting

Lol thanks. A guy built it a few years ago and sold it off. I bought it from one of the later buyers. It’s really the best summer cruiser. Relatively comfy ride but still handles nice, power seats, 4 power windows, AC, and 24 pounds of boost when I lay into it. It would be nice to have a better ster...

Honestly, Lane has taught me a lesson. I don’t want to be Like him when I am his age. He’s a perfect combination of a whiny crybaby and a hateful old man. He thinks he knows everything and isn’t open to any sort of suggestion, and easily gets upset when someone contradicts what he says even with a f...

Yeah this was pretty annoying to do but luckily it’s very short so when I go to sleeve the well it won’t be too bad. I just did some thinking, it’s not PEX I have but polybutylene which isn’t supposed to be installed in houses anymore. Oops. There’s PB going from my well pump in my cellar to the well cover itself. Ugh. Even more reason to get it changed out.
