Re: Random posting
Had to replace the filler neck on the beater. I tried patching it with JB weld first, but that didn't work out for me unfortunately. I lucked out and found a filler neck for $36 on partsgeek.com and had it swapped in. It was a 95 style but worked on the 97-99 car by trimming 3 rivets off. Also switc...

Happy Birthday buddy! Wonder why you don’t get a special thread? Lmao :dontknow: not since 2014! Lol. Once I go the way of Lane Holt I bet I'll get one. Everyone suddenly loves people once they're dead. Lane died? No shit?! Yeah, he was on hospice for a while, then passed in April of 2020.

I got these C4 wheels in a trade, popped one on the NYG and snapped some pics, posted them on .org facebook page. It's very polarizing lol.

It's got the same footprint as an XJ Cherokee while weighing 600 pounds more. It's going to become the Dodge Journey which was the official "we can get you in this today" car. They'll probably sell like hot cakes. It's a shame they are selling a kit to put the GLH badging on it, it should be SRT if ...

Ugh, I need to get my dash cam up and running again. Almost want to keep my gopro just for that, but it's pretty big. I joined an Insight Facebook group recently, just as a guy was completing a swap on his 2gn insight using a 1.5 engine block from a Honda CR-Z. I started doing research, I think I'm ...

I can't remember what I did, I probably lifted because I was barely on the throttle at that point anyway. Last night I went to pick up a car my buddy was giving me. But I tried to fix a water leak in the house first. Snapped the line...so I left and went to get the car. Was gone for 3.5 hours, came ...

Jerry's healing pretty well, he doesn't need to wear the sling except for when he really wants to, but he's still having some mobility issues with his arm. Hopefully he's not going to need PT but I'm sure he will. I never really had experience with it, but finally hit a frozen bridge the other day. ...

Last week little Jerry was running at school, he either tripped, or was tripped, and smacked his shoulder into a column at school. He kept saying "I just pulled some muscles, I'm fine" but I convinced him to go to the doctors, turns out he broke his collar bone. They thought he had broken his scapul...

High of 55 today, going to be snowing tomorrow. Apparently we're having a "La Niña" event which is causing the warmer weather. It makes it harder for the snowy weather to get to the east coast, specifically over the Appalachian mountains, but we will be having some cold weather later this week. From...

That's annoying. God damn deer. So, last night I took the headlights out of my wife's car. Broke 3 bolts removing the headlights on the white car. Since I didn't want to deal with using bolts and nuts, I ended up torching them, torching the paint, and then removing the leftover pieces of bolts with ...

Smacked a deer with the white neon this morning. It had rained so I coudn't slow down in time. I'm not even that mad that I bent the hood and the core support. I was pretty upset when I heard the news about Ken dying. I'd been a fan of his even before he started doing the Gymkhana videos, and I loved everything he was able to get into. But poor little Jerry was absolutely gutted. That little dude ended up crying, thinking about Ken's daughters, his family,...

They look great, certainly more advanced than the Pentax 35mm SLR provided to me when I took Journalism in high school. I feel so old... "Vintage" but looks very futuristic to me. I think the first camera is very "psudeo futuristic" at this point. Most modern point and shoot cameras, or even removeable lens cameras look like contemporary cameras from the 80's/90's. Even my rather nice Canon digital camera can use le...

Id recommend not starting with the magnum upper, but finding a 1gn metal intake to use. Much better platform to start with, and cheaper. The 12.0 compression will be very very steep to use with a crane 14 cam, so I'd recommend either lower compression, or a larger cam. I had a 12.5:1 compression set...

Since the neon left, there hasn't really been anything that excited me to run out and buy a Chrysler product. I'd like a charger as a daily, but that's only because I want a comfortable car that gets semi-decent gas mileage. We had a used 2014 Grand Caravan that I really liked, but I wouldn't be abl...

DIY Tuning using CCD/SCI Scanner
There's a lot of information here, that has been in the works for a while. There's even the capability to turn off the SKIM module, convert the PCM from an automatic to a manual, you could possibly even change a minivan PCM to a neon PCM. https://chryslerccdsci.boards.net/ https://www.tindie.com/pro...
