It is indeed and air to water intercooler, heat exchange is very efficient with this setup as the water is cycled through at 3gpm and routed through its own front mounted heat exchanger before returning to the reservoir to be re circulated.

I purchased everything according to these Part #s and the potentiometer is only .75 watt. Is this what could have been wrong with the old one as well? it was adjustable but only within .2v not enough to make a difference

goin to buy the stuff for a new AOBE today, old one didnt work at all hopefully this fixes it, also with the AOBE, does it matter where it hooks into the wires at? does it need to be closer to the PCM or no? the old one was wired at the MAP sensor but I could only adjust it between 4.0v-4.2 at 15 ps...

why? its still wired, and with the hole in the manifold blocked so no vac/boost is lost. so it should just read at atmospheric pressure right, or does it need to read vac?

Map sensor removal?

Is it possible to remove the map sensor (keeping it wired) and install a block of plate for a N/A>Turbo car in order to get rid of the stumbling? Im having issues with the Map clamp and thought of this, Im sure some one else has to so let me know your opinions.

the neons atx probably couldnt handle much more than 200hp before showing signs of weakness/failure. Id swap to a stronger mtx before boostin if i were you. ive heard many people say that the trannys can handle a lot tho, so its a risk youll have to take. I've been talking to LCL, and he said he wa...

the 1:1 doesnt need a check valve because its not getting a vac signal, its only there to act as the stock one once did, and rich is not a problem as its easier to pull fuel than to add it at this time, I did hook up a check valve to the 12:1 and at idle my AFRs went to 16.00, (thats not good BTW) s...

No, there is check valve on between the 12:1 and the vac/boost signal, Idle is good, around 13.8-14.2, If I hold the break and hit the gas in gear the AFRs drop down around 9.8 (super rich but easy to work with) but it doesnt do that while driving, It drops down to about 11ish and then shoots up to ...

The only thing I can think of is make sure your vac signal for both of them is right off the manifold so they act quickly. You are kinda stuff because you have no adjustablity. I would just drive around without boost untill you get a rrfpr. Im not trying to be negative but im sure you spent alot of...

MAP ?s and check valves

Ok, I got the dreaded p0108 code, does this mean the map sensor is done, or that the AOBE isnt adjusted properly? How is everyone adjusting their AOBEs, I dont have the tools to pressurize the manifold to get a reading, how do I go about this? Also, where do I get these check valves everyone is usin...
