It's not running like complete crap. It seems to be hunting for an idle about 75% of the time but above idle it is perfectly fine.

which O2?

P0038-O2 SENSOR 1/2 HEATER CIRCUIT HIGH
P0141-O2 SENSOR 1/2 HEATER PERFORMANCE

Both of these codes refer to the same O2 sensor. Does anyone know whether it is the upstream or downstream??

If you want the most bang for the buck in a 03+, go with the comp 400 and magnum springs. It is supposed to make close to the same power as the crane 14, just inside the stock rev limit of the neon. The comp 400 was designed around the magnum engine and rev limit. You can get a new comp 400 on ebay ...

Why not just get a turbo kit for a sohc? If you do put in the dohc head on, you will just have to see what kind of clearances you have. On the 1gn's, you could use the sohc hood with the dohc motor but you had to cut the underhood bracing. You can try this for starters but you may end up having to g...

timing belt
timing belt covers
intake manifold
exhaust manifold
throttle body
fuel rail
cam pos sensor
some sort of cai or wai
new gaskets (obviosly)

safc to adjust fuel since there were no dohc 2gn's

if you don't swap in dohc pistons, your compression ratio will go down

Either the blue or brown is basically an on/off switch. If it is grounded, the engine will crank but not ever fire because there is no spark. Make sure they are not grounded.

Also make sure you don't have the wires going to the coil pack crossed.

The bolt pattern to the head is different and so is the fuel rail. The throttle body should interchange from dohc to sohc as long as you have a 1gn throttle body. The 2gn throttle body will not fit directly on the intake manifold for the 1gn.

The magnum cam is so close to the crane 12, that it is not worth the extra $150. The magnum cam does NOT need the intake manifold to work properly. You should upgrade your valve springs with any cam upgrade. You can get either the crane springs or the magnum springs. You do NOT need the titanium ret...

I would check your O2 sensor and also your grounds.. which cylinders are not firing 1,2,3,4, I would also check to make sure your cam gear has not moved and changed the timing by itself If it were bad grounds or an O2 sensor, it would affect all 4 cylinders. 2 & 3 are the ones not firing and they a...
