Hey guys. After what? Like a 10 year break, I’m going to start lurking around a bit again. I do still have my silver 2k with the export rear bumper and Kosei K1s, tho the stock flakes are currently on the car. It has spent the last 6 years sitting in my sisters garage. Literally like a time capsule....

Ill be moving there in 6 days, and can only bring my Neon with me.. I am however also loosing my ability to do any work on the car myself with this apartment living situation.. soooo, anyone who has a house/garage/shop down there feeling down to help me out if/when I could use a hand, Id like to mee...

The rear bumper cannot be bought state side. If you get one, youll have to have it shipped from over seas. Plates will fit, its just holes. I got a brand new Craftsman one, 3 temp ranges, for around $50 at Sears. Has worked perfectly, and I used the shit out of it in the Academy for polishing my boots.

Thats not a stock alarm horn. Does your stock RKE remote operate it?

If the car was repainted, and the side moldings were painted over... you are better off leaving them on. Even if they got the shade of the paint perfect, you will still have a hard paint edge. You cant really sand it down and polish it, as that edge will still rip and eventually cause chipping issue...

my 01 came with stock shock sensor on the hood, i can take pics if you like. and yes its the stock alarm. i believe they used the shock sensor on my car because it has no hood switch like the others do. Id like to see this pic too. Never heard of a stock shock sensor on the hood.... just the pin sw...

That bolt holds the wheel cylinder to the backing plate, dont touch it.

As someone who has had projects since 1998... at the grand old age of 29 now, dont ever do "cheap builds"... they cost you more in the long run. If it takes you an extra month or six to save up for the proper mod that you want... so be it. Do it right, do it once, and be done. "cheap builds" end up ...

Thats why I like my tune, big injectors, head work, and 30lbs of boost in my F-350..... 9,000lbs of truck running 14s usually shuts people like that up.

I just pulled the black plastic piece off that is under the bumper, and reached up in there.Its tight, but it can be done.

Stock Magnum piping, and a Thermal muffler. FTW.

You'd need to cut open your stock struts, but I recomend the Koni inserts. Theyre a little bit of work to install (Not direct bolt in, per say).... but worth it, IMO.
