I’m not new, but I have been gone a while
Hey guys. After what? Like a 10 year break, I’m going to start lurking around a bit again. I do still have my silver 2k with the export rear bumper and Kosei K1s, tho the stock flakes are currently on the car. It has spent the last 6 years sitting in my sisters garage. Literally like a time capsule....

The rear bumper cannot be bought state side. If you get one, youll have to have it shipped from over seas. Plates will fit, its just holes. The export rear does have two license plate lights, so youll want to wire up a second one to look right. anyway, here is a pic of my car with it installed. http...

Only thing I don't like about those trucks is the square headunit. But for 450K miles that thing looks great! Here's to another 450! Dad and I put an aftermarket headunit in it a few years back. Mounts in the middle where the original cassette player was. Where the original square radio was in the ...

My turn...new daily driver
Well, the time has come. My dad finally retired, for real this time. And, as he said years ago when he almost retired... whenever it happens he will give me his old pickup. My dad bought this pickup brand new in March of 1989. I was in the first grade at the time. This was my dads first brand new ve...

I used to mess with my old '00. Id roll down the window and lock it. Let it sit for a couple minutes then unlock it from the inside and soon as i opened the door the alarm would go off. Same with the hood, if it was locked and i popped the hood, the alarm would go off. And yes it was stock. Did wha...

If the car was repainted, and the side moldings were painted over... you are better off leaving them on. Even if they got the shade of the paint perfect, you will still have a hard paint edge. You cant really sand it down and polish it, as that edge will still rip and eventually cause chipping issue...

As someone who has had projects since 1998... at the grand old age of 29 now, dont ever do "cheap builds"... they cost you more in the long run. If it takes you an extra month or six to save up for the proper mod that you want... so be it. Do it right, do it once, and be done. "cheap builds" end up ...
