Automatic transmissions can be real bastards to work on, especially if you've never done any transmission work, there's so many things you could get wrong and the trasnmission will lock up on you, i'd recommend getting the replacement, then keep the old one and tinker with it so you get comfortable ...

i'm changing my car's name to the millennium falcon, I fix one thing and another breaks, and it always seems to be minor annoying shit too, the gasket between the TB and spacer blew out and now I have a high Idle and boost leak. :cussing:

as of last night the transmission is out of the car, gotta swap a few parts over, install the clutch, and the I'll be putting the new trans in \o/
