Why would it sound different on an atx?

Hey I'm looking into getting a srt rear section, so naturally that means I need a new method of shutting my exaust up. I'm thinking glasspack, but I'm not familiar with exausts yet so I don't know how they sound. BUT I've kinda narrowed it down to these two options: This glasspack or this glasspack....

take the vents from the outside (the smaller side) and with a flathead pry the vent straight towards you. like this:

it should pop out with no problem whatsoever, they're barely held in at all.

IMO it looks pretty hot, except the license plate makes it look bad.
