Yeah, I'm up to 92% DC on the injectors. As long as I keep the boost turned all the way down, and don't take it above 7K rpm, the stage 1s will keep up. So, I really need to get some 750s or even 866s, especially if I want to run it on alcohol. I would just go with some 1000s, but I'd rather stay wi...

I haven't made it to a dyno yet, no. I am rather curious though what kind of numbers I'm making. My stage 1 injectors are already maxed out at 14 psi. So, I really need to get some 750s to drop in before I make a dyno run. As soon as I get some new injectors and do a quick retune, I'll probably make...

but keep in mind that we will take NO responsibility for how well the drivetrain will hold up. We prefer to tune the kit on an MTX though, simply because it's easier to tune and we know that we can run it to the limit of the motor The ATX is a stronger transmission than the MTX. If you're just worr...

I was going to use it for a CAI project, but I think I've decided that was a silly idea.

Interested?

Any updates on the wrist pin theory? I think the whole thing is bogus. When was the last time you heard of a wrist pin seizing? Seriously, that just doesn't happen. I don't think there is really anything wrong with it. At least not in the rotating assembly. I checked all the HLAs a couple times, bu...

Nope. It's a 5-speed. :) It has the 3.0L V6 too. It's been in California for most of its life, so the body is very clean. No rust at all. It has about 200k miles on the chassis, and the engine was rebuild about 40k miles ago. With a little TLC it should keep running for a very long time still. The s...

Well, I've been looking for truck that I can use as more of a winter "beater" if you will, so that I don't have to take the neon out in nasty weather. I'm wondering how much blow by you're getting, and how much oil it's losing. I think some of the rings might not have seated well, and you're hearing a piston move around a little..... Just an idea.... Why would it start making noise now, and not before? I haven't checked compression yet. I still n...

The rod bearings looked like... brand new. And they are brand new, so I guess that's a good thing. Doesn't help much for finding where this tapping noise is coming from though. I'm thinking that the SKIM system will still function with MS running fuel and spark, IF you keep your PCM and power distribution systems intact. 14 psi. WOT. Feels pretty good... I did some tuning tonight. It's running much better now. Much smoother. Yeah. That's why it was a bit of a mystery. It felt like it was pulling fuel and timing, and as it turns out, it was. All the over boost protection does is kick in the hard cut rev limiter whenever you go over the specified value. Since it didn't know what to do with the value that I entered, it was...

I bet it is hard since the computer is not controlling the boost. Just the WGA correct? I also noticed you have a Kinetic WGA on there right, same one I have. I did the vac line mod, so the WGA controls the boost which isn't fun for a daily driver. You either go really slow or WOT once you hit 3k. ...
