What is the benefit of these over the 1st gen Mopar ones available for $13-$14 a piece versions? Not doggin' your pieces. I am curious because I am ordering them from Mopar but prefer to support Neon owners first. The benefit of these brackets is the fact that you can use factory end links with the...

I'll be interested when you'll put some pics installed. Do they brace on only one bolt of shocks? BTW, what's the price in canadian dollars? Thanks! Thanks for the interest. That price is US dollars. The price may vary depending on shipping costs but i'm hoping to sell them between 30 and 35. It wi...

Rear sway bar brackets - Sold out

Update Oct 20, 2008 - Sold out. Daaboots Rear Sway Bar Brackets I noticed that there are no rear sway bar adapter brackets that let you utilize the factory sway bar end-links when using a factory sway bar. You either need to piece something together using the Mopar brackets or buy an after market s...

Thanks everyone. I wouldn't mind getting a more polished look on the lip, but it took me 7 hours just to get it to the point they're at now. Maybe next summer i'll give 'em another treatment. The lips didn't have any curb rash, just the corrosion. Exel rims FTL Whats wrong with Exel?? Either way I g...

Fixed my rims!!

I bought some used Exel rims recently. The clear coat on the polished lip had flaked off and since the previous owner drove them in the winter, the lip was full of corrosion from the salt on the roads. Here are some before and after pics. http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m304/daaboots/car301.jpg h...

I was thinking the spindle was bolted to the knuckle but now i see that its actually all one part.

So does anyone know for sure if the SRT-4 spindle/knuckle and hub are the same as the Neon?

I thought for our cars you should run more negative camber in the front and less in the rear in order to reduce under-steer??

Rear disc conversion question-if you've done the swap, read

When you did your rear disc conversion, did you have to remove the hub from the spindle in order to install the backing plate and dust plate (assuming your using your stock knuckles)?? I was kinda under the impression that the spindle and hub would just unbolt but it looks like I cant get at the spi...

Summer projects... sway bars and rear brakes

Well as soon as the temperature outside turns a bit warmer I'll be starting on my sway bar and rear SRT-4 disc brake conversion. Pic below is a 24mm front SRT-4 bar and a 19mm rear R/T bar. Didn't like the color of rust so I sanded them to the metal and painted them red. Oooooh... shiny. http://i107...

Re: Putting an end to the oil and filter debate.

BMW's oil change interval is 15,000 miles, and it specifically says under the hood, "Use only Castrol Syntec oil." wow.. i've been using Castrol Syntec from day 1 and eveybody has always been saying bad things about it. Nice to hear that BMW actually recomends it. I change mine every 5000 KM (thats...
