I think on the 2000, you don't need to modify the cover. on the 01, 02 they went to the hyd. tensioner so it got modified. unless your car is a late 2000 model, you should be fine......

I have the same exact issue, but mine is not leaking (yet). this should have been something Chrysler thought of. if you don't believe me, go check your fuel line at the point where it passes under the injector cover, you will find a scar especially if you have an older neon and never changed it .......

My e-brake sucks big time !!! but i have always avoided messing with the rear drums because they are so damn confusing and complicated...... so lets assume this is an e-brake issue, what should be the action plan now? could someone explain the adjustment procedure a bit? i know it probably has been ...

I just noticed this... if i raise the rear of my car and disengage the e-brake, then spin my wheels manually. the driver's side rear only spins very few times, and comes to a stop fast. the passenger side rear spins for a long time without any resistance...... so the question is, which is the normal...

Man that control arm is scary, how the hell did that happen? most importantly, how were you driving with that ? the alignment should be WAY off........ did you ever replace ball-joint before? if so, possibly it was bent while pressing the new one in, or the old one out......that is so strange..:lol:...

Better tires would help. Ones with a severe weather rating, even more. They should be a softer compound with lots of sipes. the sipes help grip on the wet/snow, and the softer compound helps make the cold rubber stick a little better. While the ones I have don't grip the best when it's dry, they do...

Is there any difference between a dash harness from an 00-02 neon, and that of a 03-05 neon?

As i mentioned somewhere else on this topic, i might get a donor vehicle for cheap..

If i get an engine off an 03+ for my 2000. i will need the pcm, sensors, the engine, and the engine bay wiring harness..... is the dash wiring / interior wiring, or any other wiring different ? also, going from a neon with a mechanical clutch, to a neon with a hydraulic clutch. how complicated? than...

it does not look like a head gasket, it sounds like a regular leak from somewhere...
