did he align the engine correctly according to engine mounting specs?

so how will this affect me if i decide to get a new engine off a 2001, or 2002 for my 2000 neon...?


that is why i was asking in the first place, once you look at car part finder websites, they list egr, or w/ egr as seperate catagories.....!

Very Basic question, what is an EGR port, and why do some neons have it, while others don't?

This is getting worse, i am thinking it has nothing to do with the PCM flash. it feels like the engine wants to shutoff for a second, then goes back to normal.........

i put some injector cleaner in, nothing changed.......

i am open for ideas ......

checked the "Help" section, Nothing, most of the stuff is for door panels, if you are not familiar with these, they are very small in size ....

i guess i'll keep on looking locally......

i'm thinking maybe to find something similar through lowe's or something.....

i don't understand why DCx will only sell the whole thing? i'm only missing one or two of these out of nearly 40????!!!!

i can't find them anywhere.... they hold the upper weather stripping in place .......

any ideas where i could find them?

i saw some black silicone stuff they sell for weather stripping, i thought what a mess this will be!!!!!!!

while changing weather stripping, will i need to use any kind of glue / silicone?

ewetho, i have a question about this.... are the MM and the tranny mount inserts both from VITOR? i really want to do this becasue i hate the play in the drivetrain .....i hate vibrations though, and i don't want to get the filled tranny mount from deyeme racing becasue that is like $90 before shipp...

Well Changed everything.....coil, plugs and wires..... car is a bit smoother at idle...... bogging is still there.............

yes, i know about the neon engines being american made, i thought the design was similar, or identical to the mitsubishi engine....

any how, if copper is a better conductor, why are platinum plugs marketed as the premiuim / better ones?

I'm in the process of changing wires, coil, and plugs as you might see in my other thread overhere....... I know the topic of spark plugs has been beaten to death over here.... STAY AWAY from Bosch Platnium Plugs specially (+2) is the common advice over here.... Yesterday i was at Autozone shopping ...

Lower SRT motor mount has a thicker bolt, will not bolt into your engine without modification...

upper mount will work fine....

i have a question about this, a while back i did the same procedures to change to change my passenger side engine mount (the one with the torx-55 bolt going through it), the same nasty work raising and lowering the engine..everything other than touching the cam, any how, by far the hardest thing to ...

The small cylinders inside the brake drums, i'm not sure if i'm describing them correctly...

My break cylinder in the rear keeps on failing, i changed it once when i got the car 3 years ago, changed 1.5 years ago as part of a brake job, it was leaking again, this morning, it came to my attention that it is leaking again, same side

the only thing i'm not sure about is the valve job, i guess a rebuilt head will involve a valve job + resurfacing the head ...do they usally change the valves themselves or just clean them?
