i like the sportlines. but it just doesn't work here in the IE. the roads are just sh*t. wish i could keep them, but i've cracked one rim and bent another. i can't afford to keep the sportlines.

when i painted my rims, i used 320 dry to knock the paint down, then 1000 wet, then 2000 wet. i also used a dremel with a grinding wheel to even out the lips where i curbed them. and then i used acetone to clean it all off and then tack ragged it. then primed, 1000 wet, 2000 wet, tack rag, then pain...

each time i get online, i end up searching the IE and San Diego craigslist for neons/srt's and neon/srt parts. i think the roller paintjobs look like ass anyway, so if it starts to fall off, what have you lost? maybe an extra 30 minutes? if thats the case, a rattle can costs like $5...

i've got eibach sportlines and tokico blues. the ride is harsh and the roads in socal suck so i feel everything. even when the stock rims and tires are on, its harsh. but when the 18's are on, my gf won't even ride in the car.

if you bought it off someone else, just make sure that i comes with the items you want. if you still have your trunk, you might want to swap out the lock cylinders so your key works.

i'd check that the connection is the right size. i had one on my avenger that was just a little bit too big. i ended up soldering it on after work one day...it was a bad idea but it worked.
