rubber-ish stuff on the dash
the coating on my dash right in front of the steering wheel is peeling. i was wondering if there is anyway to get all that crap off and just leave it as the hard plastic. i think because it started peeling in the summer heat, i could just use a heat gun or my girl's hardcore hair dyer to heat it up ...

ok...what do i need to do to get rid of these? i found a relay spliced into the wires running under the plastic on the steering column and they go down into the footwell and attach to another bundle. all the wires attach to a 14 pin white connector, a 3 pin connector, and a 2 pin connector. but now ...

shops that can manage the swap in SoCal?
Does anyone know of (or work at? or own?) a shop in Socal that can competently do the FULL srt swap? including working out the bugs and maybe offer a small guarantee?

fiberglass pros...i need help
i'm going to start by saying I HAVE NEVER WORKED WITH FIBERGLASS BEFORE.
now that's outta the way, if i wanted to fiberglass my center console or dash, could i just use the fg resin and hardener mix, or do i have to use the sheets of fg/chopped fg along with the req. hardener/resin?
