I have had this done for the last 2 years no problems. I have a 2000 and got a 2003 Flasher so that mine matched the picture. After I cut the spot, my lights DID flash faster than stock. but NOT THAT fast... and no matter my LED's or regular bulbs, my turn signals flash faster than normal, but not ...

On a side note, I got a call on thurs from my debit card's protection agency. Looks like someone got ahold of my # and security code, and tried to make $600 in online purchases. This has happened to me, very recently, with my Visa card ..... just last week. Fortunately, they 'flagged' my account ve...

The low beams each have their own fuse (in car), and the high beams go through a relay in the PDC under the hood. The high beams are also fused in the PDC IIRC. They likely did this so if the (a) fuse blows there is still one light that works. Great explanation, makes sense. Thank you !! ...

The petroleum companies know their days are numbered what with new "go" technology being developed. My cynical take on it is that they figure they better make their profits while they can. That may be true, but I don't know what other 'technologies' are coming on-line ?? (other than hybrids, which ...

I don't know of any yards close to West Allis, sorry. I have been to Jantz before, it is a nice yard, but they are expensive and they won't let you go out into the yard without an 'escort' and you'll have to wait in line. I know of another GREAT junkyard.... it is further away for you than Jantz is,...

So realisticly speaking, could this be done without an air compressor and impact gun? "In theory", you could. BUT every time that I have done front-end work, I usually need air tools at some point. Lube the ball joint BEFORE you put it on the ground with the full weight on the car. Hopefully, other...

I heard speculation as high as $10 per gallon. I laughed. Our country will shut down before gas reaches that kind of price. I am skeptical, too....because if gas got that high then DEMAND will go WAAAY down. It might get to $7, or $8... I guess we will see. Meanwhile, I combine my trips, drive sane...

Quick question though. When installing the actuator, the spring should cause the butterflies to snap into a closed position when it shuts off? In other words, should there always be a closing force on them? I'd like to offer a S.W.A.G. (Scientific Wild Ass Guess, for those who don't know) I w...

The lower weight wont' be noticeable, all an adjustable cam gear will do is move the powerband, if you want more low rpm power, advance the timing and vice versa for more top end. But there is a limit on how far you can go and should only be adjusted by a pro on a dyno. :withstupid: Different engin...
