Same thing happens to mine, once I pop the hood it's hard to hear until bend down near the passenger tire. It's really the loudest when I'm next to a wall or fence while driving slow. The interval of the sound speeds up as the rpms rise, so all signs point to timing belt. I BET it's the tensioner p...

Re: Hub and bearing

I just finished inspecting my rear suspension since i seem to have multiple issues going on, any how... when i spin my right rear tire, it spins freely and for a long time, when i spin my left-rear tire, it spins "heavily", and for a short period of time, and every rotation there is a faint "woosh"...

Sounds like you blew a brake line or hose.

Your Master Cylinder could be screwed up, too.

One reason for the US dollar losing its value is our enormous trade deficit. Buying American-made goods will help our dollar to regain some of its value and fuel prices will come back down. Being a debtor nation also means that our enemies have a lot of say as to how our country is run. AMEN. So pl...

Well NGC yes, but the thing that causes it is the throttle body bracket. It attaches to the side of the TB and holds the throttle cable. Its different in 05s Interesting !! That's the first time I've heard about something like this. So, is this bracket found on ALL 2005's, or just some of them ?? A...

Also, why change to a mechanical tensioner? Is the mechanical one the older style or newer style? I remember on the avenger forums people were changing to the 01+ tensioners because they were supposed to be less problematic and lasted longer. The tensioner you want to use is the so-called "2004" Li...

The reasons for pulling the resonator are... 1) The resonator is a very restrictive and small path for air to travel through (hence making it quieter). 2) Weight. That sucker is pretty heavy for what it is. It won't make a huge difference, but since it doesn't cost anything to remove it, why keep i...
