Assuming your problem is transmission-related, (and not the motor mounts) - Do you have an auto trans, or a manual ??

Searching for mufflers, I came across a Mopar on line dealer that had the oem performance Mopar numbers listed for the mufflers for the neon through the current model line up. In all the decriptions was the Walker Queitflow and Walker PN. Now whether this was that dealer substituting the Mopar part...

I would try swapping the pins out, vs the whole harness. That's what I am thinking. Do you have the PCM pin out for both the '00 and the '01/'02? If not, I can see what I can dig up. I have a 2001 FSM..... But not a 2000 FSM.... Yet. :) At worst, you will just have two extra wires not being used. I...

Yeah, I was thinking the 1st Gen DOHC muffler would be lighter too. The *[factory] DOHC muffler is actually pretty hefty. Weight-wise, it is probably still lighter than the factory R/T muffler, however. *This being said - I have an aftermarket DOHC muffler in storage, that weighs about half as much...

Converting 2000 over to 2001 IAC - Has anyone done this ??

Hello, Everyone, I'm looking for input, for converting a 2000 (MTX) Neon over to the 2001 IAC. Reason: I recently picked up a 'Syked' PCM, from Kevin Bonnett. :D The 'Syked' PCM conversion, will only run the 2001-up 2-wire IAC. So, I am looking at converting a 2000 Neon, over from the 4-wire IAC, to...

Have you thought about replacing your R/T intake manifold, for a 'regular' plastic one ?? I don't know the weight of the Magnum intake offhand, but considering that the plastic manifold weighs next to nothing.... The Magnum intake, is noticeably heavier. Erik Steinmaier successfully ran up to...

I've been around both 1st gen R/T's and 2nd gen R/T's with the factory exhaust. I will say that the 1st gen DOHC muffler, is quieter than the 2nd gen R/T muffler. If you want quiet, go with the 1st gen DOHC muffler. Not only that, it is an excellent design - It flows very decent, despite being quiet...

To make sure i understand u correctly, I can remove and spray the inside of the iac (top piece) with the silicone spray and wipe it clean? The actual sensor doesnt come out of the aluminum housing does it? I suppose you could use the silicone spray to clean the inside of the IAC passage. I don't se...

Re: Multifunction Switch~Bad Ground~Fuse Popping

@ the connector it's obviously 1 cable for ground and 1 cable for power.. It should be 8 total for power and 8 for ground. Question: Just to clarify - Do you mean that you are *getting* power, at only 1 wire, and getting ground, at only 1 wire - And that you *should* be getting power at 8 leads and...

On the factory throttle bodies - The 'cam' that the throttle cable attaches to, is different for MTX vs. ATX. The ATX throttle body cable cam, or lever, is shaped or configured differently, to allow for a faster opening rate. This is why putting an ATX throttle body, on an MTX Neon, can make it feel...

I bought a pair of Vfiber fenders awhile back, and was wondering if this is how kt should look. I know it'll need prepwork, but why is the upper tab that connects to the enginebay facing up?
