"Instead of always going to dealerships, why don't you work on your car yourself, Gramps?" I just put a 1/4" gouge in the license plate well when my screwdriver slipped out of the right side slot. :angryfire: I can't even install a license plate properly. At least it will be a distinguishing feature...

Re: The Official eBay, Craigslist, etc Links Thread for Cars

You really have to wonder how much of the car is actually made by the named manufacturer, and how much is outside vendors. Yes, it's not like the old days when Chrysler Corp. did a lot of manufacturing in house. Although, I've recently read on allpar.com about how PPG helped to develop the unique s...

Yeah, that was the only disappointment for me when the box arrived... seeing "Made In Germany" on the Mopar parts sticker. Yes, certainly better than ANYTHING made in China.

Aren't your coilovers KW's?

At least KW was an official Mopar vendor.
They are Mopar Performance parts but were manufactured by KW.

Re: The Official eBay, Craigslist, etc Links Thread for Cars

Thanks for the nice comments about my "investment." Some have called me crazy! The only difference with my SRT is, if it were sold (after I'm dead), I would think that a prospective buyer would take into account that only Mopar parts have been used and (except for the coilovers, CAI, BOV and rust pr...

Just saw that eBay ad WTF! Over $30k! Had a shop do everything! What a list though of work and modifications done by a shop!
It does happen... Estimating near $25K in parts and labor from shops in almost 15 years for my SRT. [/off-topic]

Re: Avoid Grubhub

I have used Pizza Hut delivery on my one day off a week as I don't like to leave the house and drive anywhere. Using Grubhub was a way of getting a little diversity in ordering- I knew that it would cost more than driving to the individual restaurant. I just wanted to give everyone a head's up about...

Avoid Grubhub

I ordered Taco Bell through Grubhub before 2 p.m. this afternoon with a scheduled delivery time of 7:15 p.m. According to their tracking system, the order had yet to be prepared by 7:30. Tracking eventually showed delivery to my house around 8:30 but I received nothing. I was sitting by my front por...
