fix a flat is a very very very bad idea.... that stuff will throw off the wheels balance horribly, the only way to balance it after that crap is to take the tire off the wheel and clean the crap out of the inside of the tire... besides that, the chemicals will eat up the inside of your tire slowly.

you could also spray around the engine with carb cleaner... the idle will raise when the carb cleaner is sucked into the engine through a vacuum leak. But use caution, carb cleaner and hot engine parts sometimes means bad things. I use it all the time, and havent ever had a fire

do you have a test light or volt meter? You could test the wire when your headlights are on. You should get a solid 12 volts when its on.

I'll try and check later and see if i see the wire is the same

I believe most good units come with a mudule that reads rpms. That way it knows when the motor is running, and keeps it from continuing to turn over

I found it not to long ago when i was installing an alarm on my neon EDIT: I dont know if you can see this...

You could just wash it by hand with some degreaser...

I also heard someone say, after you get most of the oil and grease off, you can throw it in the dishwasher.... Sounded like a good idea to me! I dunno

I have them on stock struts, and havent blown them out or anything. They seem a little bouncy with the stock strut. I'll prob...
