Re: MyNeonSaysHi Mod Log: Stone White
It reminds me of my old ACR, before I took the BBS off of it. It's a nice look. You now have more wheels for this car than I own shoes. I have 2 sets of wheels for the SRT-4. I sold the 5zigens about 4 or 5 months ago (FINALLY). You need some more shoes! I have a ton of shoes haha. Didn't you have ...

What a loser. That car is worth about a third of what he's asking. He can't write or spell for shit, either.

That's one badass truck. My dad briefly had a blue one of that generation. We called it Ol' Blue. It was kind of a beater, but a cool truck nonetheless.

Re: 2003 SRT DD
It's been in the low thirties every morning now, so I've been letting the car warm up in the driveway before I take it to work. As I pulled out today, I noticed a small puddle in the driveway. I checked it out and it's motor oil. I have a leak somewhere that only drops when the car is running. I sus...

↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 1:50 pm The new headlights are on. Let's see how they handle rain. The driver's light is pointed really high and the passenger light is pointed at the ground. It's kind of silly how far apart they're aligned. I'll have to adjust them at some point. No exciting updates, but I did m...

Oh man. This exhaust manifold situation is just more and more bad news. I hope someone can get it out for you for a reasonable price. Looks like a major pain in the ass.

Re: 2003 SRT DD
The gaskets on these were pretty bad. I'm sure that's the issue. I should have swapped over the gaskets from the old Depos. They were better and I still have them...somewhere.

The new headlights are on. https://i.imgur.com/xXUdrK0l.jpg There's a pretty substantial gap at the bottom of them. https://i.imgur.com/KrLKaSMl.jpg Other than that, they seem alright so far. That padding on the front uprights looks mighty thin.

Those Motons though. There's a good amount of money in that car. Seems lame to cheap out on the padding at that point.

I'd be happy with the $46K Scat Pack wide body. All the good looks and it still runs 12's. That's plenty of speed for me.

There was a Motorsports edition R/T on my local Craigslist for cheap. It was super clean, too. Made me want to buy it. It's gone now.

Well, I just ordered some Eagle Eye branded headlights. Let's hope these ones stay together and don't leak. I know MyNeonSaysHi has had good luck with them, so I'll give them a shot.

I agree that having something in there would look better. I just don't want to spend money on fogs that I won't use and will eventually be covered with block off plates. I'll figure something out.

I guess it doesn't look terrible with the fog light holes. The headlights on the other hand...they desperately need to be filled.

Re: 2003 SRT DD
The car is still sitting without headlights. I removed the yellowing fog lights as well, but I might put them back since it looks kind of lame with the gaping holes. I might tint them with some Nightshades before I put them back in. Or just paint them black, since they don't work. The problem with t...

This style of compressor has been most helpful for me, when it comes to installation. I use the Lisle hammer-on tool for removal, but it's useless for installation.

Will going to a different brand of manifold affect the alignment of anything, or are they pretty interchangeable?

On the previous page I said mine say "Eagle Eye" where yours say Dynamic R. I never had issues with the "Eagle Eye" ones. Have you driven in rain with the Eagle Eye brand? I'm asking because I found some online. I had that brand on my old R/T and one of them leaked like these ones do. I'm a little ...

Re: 2003 SRT DD
I contacted the sellers of the defective headlights. They want me to send them back. This would be fine if I hadn't just trashed one of the Depos. Now the car is going to be sitting in the driveway without headlights until the refund comes through and I can buy another set from someone. What a pain ...

Re: 2003 SRT DD
I tried to fix my previous set of headlights by baking them and opening them up per the instructions on the SRTForums. They turned into a goopy mess with tabs breaking everywhere. It was so bad, I just threw the whole headlight in the garbage. https://i.imgur.com/ubGqwiCl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/DJl...

I'm starting to think good headlights no longer exist for this car.

Magnum heads came in the 2001 and up R/Ts and ACRs. They had larger exhaust ports for better flow. They also came with a steeper cam and stiffer valve springs. Sorry, I don't know any part numbers.

Re: 2003 SRT DD
My old '02 came without any form of trunk release. The only way to open it was with the key from the outside. It was a super duper base model.
