My old 99 dodge neon I used to own started having MASSIVE missfires out of no where one day while driving. It would not stay running on its own, and totally putted below 3K rpms. I was out of town and had to drive about 30 miles back. Had a hard time starting it when it stalled for the first time, a...

Just a quick update, I finally have about 500 miles on it, and I got on it hard a few times, and I have to say it grips like crazy compared to my stock clutch. I can finally chirp 2nd gear again easily. The clutch feels good, although I am still getting used to the "snappier" engagement. It's almost...

what is the best way to take apart the stock clutch. It is riveted together, so what would be the best idea to pop the rivets/bolts apart?

Equal Length Axles on a neon

Is it possible to get the halfshaft(jackshaft? intermediate shaft?), and equal lentgh axles on a Neon? I know the srt one will not fit, but I have read somewhere that it will from a PT cruiser, that they came with the halfshaft and equal length axles. Is this correct? And has anyone done it?

Brand new Throw Out Bearing noise with Videos now

I just got my new clutch and TOB installed, and now it makes a rattleing type sound when the clutch is released in any gear, and parked in neutral. The noise goes away when the clutch is pushed in, and you can hear the normal "whirring" when the clutch is pushed in. It only rattles when the clutch i...

I triple checked all the PS lines. The fluid in the power steering is the ATF+4 like mentioned, and when it was leaking again today fresh, it definetly is oil. The thickness, yellowish color, etc

I also checked the brake line completely and thats 100% okay also.

So I think I found the source of my leak. The cam seals. I went for my first quick drive after my new clutch install, and now it's leaking more again, and thicker. It definetly is motor oil, and it's coming from the very upper area. It's not the valve cover either. In the following picture, you can ...
