I haven't had any problems with the Gr2 with my eibach sportlines... did you make sure that the spring locked into the place with the tab to stop it? I cant remember if I had to get that "tab" rubber thingy (thats a real technical term) off the OEM strut for the spring to lock into or not. Hope that...

I believe (IMHO) that if you had the whole thing done in the black with the silver accents (or polished/brushed aluminum - which they make door sill accents I believe) would look good, but if you didn't get the whole thing painted "proper" like then it would appear chea...
