There was a change made to the later 2nd gen trans (all SRT-4s for that matter) starting in late 2002 production. Chrysler added friction material to the shift forks (and possibly the sycro rings themselves iirc) which made the use of ATF+4 necessary. If that is what you are referring to. Thanks......

Are There different between 1gn and 2gn manual trans?? Some friend of mine said me that the 1gn are different on synchro and for this use different oil fluid??
