Over heating was due to extreme richness. AFC was malfunctioning leading to constantly varing fuel curves. Removed AFC and wiring set fuel pressure to 45psi w 30lb injectors Idles at 13.5 afrs drops to low 13s at unloaded high RPM.

Reassembled, fuel pressure tweaked, VAFC adjusted, driven to local rice show noone wanted to race for some reason :evil: and driven home with no issues.

Digging through boxes of stuff today looking for an old MsQ unit.

VAFC is how I do mag butterflys just easier in my opinion.

Stick with a Comp 400 or bigger the 12 is just a hair bigger than a mag cam its not really worth it. NGC cars idle really well with huge cams the 14 idles like stock.

Those Koni decals are about 25 years old they came with my Monza and just so happen to be correct for a Shelby slalom serries GLHS so I kept them. Infact one blew away Sudnay thankfully I have extras.
