i realize there are more expensive, higher quality products out there matt. but malco has a great product line, and i've had nothing but good results with their stuff. next step will be the rotary for sure, my buffing skills are far better now, so i think the "safer" random orbit won't be needed her...

nope, you're right, these wheels have 2 valve stems. since they were designed as a race wheel, apparently one of them is able to have a tire pressure monitor installed, and one regular valve stem. this is so they can monitor tire pressure during races, or so i think i remember reading. makes sense t...

as i'm sure you've seen in my other posts crystalmarie, the ring is to make the wheel more rigid for better feedback and strength. but yeah, spidey himself would be proud. can't wait to friggin get my work lug nuts though! should be here by friday. droooool. and yes, it's a rear diffuser from a 2006...

yeah, i don't expect everyone to agree with my taste in wheels. however, that ring is there for a reason. it makes the wheel more rigid, to that it flexes less, and so it doesn't bend as easy, which is practical here considering all of our potholes. I don't even wanna hear about potholes. Pittsburg...

Very clean indeed, love it! As much as I hate to say it, not sure about the rims though. Remind me of hubcaps for some reason. I think it has to do with the ring going around the back of it. Just my opinion. Everything else is sexy! Great job. yeah, i don't expect everyone to agree with my taste in...

A couple quick post-detail pics (56k take a hike)
I figured for those of you who don't frequent the project log section, I'd post some quick pics of my car after I spent 5 hrs on it today. Also, I just picked up my wheels 2 weeks ago, so I'm sure lots of you haven't seen 'em yet. I have a set of Work locking nuts, in Blue, coming this week for thos...

soooo, went home for the long weekend (victoria day), and spent 5 hours buffing/waxing the car to practice, and obviously to protect the paint and make it look way better. it turned out great. Here's a couple random shots again of my car while at my buddy's (the '03 he's trying to sell). I just wanted to test out the camera at night (mind you, it was pitch black outside. I think these shots were set to 10" for shutter and 4.5 for Aperture). http://i39.tinypic.com/qqub75.jpg http://i43.ti...

yellow fogs = the coating fell of. i chose these wheels, because they're my taste, and because of their functionality. the ring inside the spokes makes the wheel more rigid for better response and wheel strength. they're 17x7.5 and only weigh 17 lbs each. not everyone likes them, but they're defini...
