Wow. Huh. I wonder how much shop rates would be, if you had NO connections, for a reputable local shop to do a complete turbo install. I've never thought about it, because that would be like heresy or hypocrisy or anarchy or......something horrible for someone else to work on my car. I bet tha...

i think he is just saying that there are two designations for the same trans. Yep, that's what I was saying. I was waiting for BlackRose to get in on this and let us know whats going on. :D So, thanks man. And yeah, I wouldn't doubt if they changed the recommended fluid type as the years went on si...

The more oil ends up on the crank, the more oil get slung around at high speed, thus the more air bubbles you get in the oil. Which is bad. Windage trays and crank scrapers both have the same goal. Crank scrapers "wipe" the crank lobes clean each revolution, windage trays keep the oil "level" in the...

looks like an excellant report with ultra low wear. the silicon is high but from what i read that is typical of having a K&N filter. the viscosity looks good. didnt shear down like some. if you want i can post this on bobistheoilguy.com and see what they think of it, should be good. quicksilvr: som...

does the es/rt mean you put an r/t drivetrain in your car? that would explain differences. between yours and mine. but i thought all neons except the srt had the nvt-350. The R/T means I have swapped the Magnum head and intake manifold into my car. I still have the standard 2000 manual transmission...

As far as I have been able to find, the only transmission fluid recommended for the A578 manual transmission is the Mopar semi-synthetic, part number 4773167. ATF+4 isn't recommended for the A578 tranny. I assume that the Mopar fluid, p/n 4773167, is more like a gear lube. All I know, is that mine w...

I got a hoot out of this site... http://www.mychryslersucks.com/ ..."dedicated to the 2000 Chrysler 300m that I owned from 1999 to 2002." Very cool. 8) As soon as I set a catch-can up, I'm switching to Mobil 1 5W-30. The engine deserves it I suppose. Question for you Greg, you might know. When putting oil back into the engine after it's been caught in a catch-can from coming out the PCV, do I have to worry about anything concern...

But no one liked my half tinted exports. I even got a couple of VERY nasty PMs about what I "did to those tail lights" Anyway, good job on the lights. Ouch! I'm sure they looked good (imo), but people probably couldn't believe you tinted $200 lights. Unless you didn't pay $200 for them. :) I...

The alternator ODP is NOT a bigger pulley. It is in fact nearly half the size of the original pulley and much lighter weight. It must be smaller to turn the alternator faster. A larger pulley, like the Mopar Perf. pulley would turn the alternator more slowly. I have an Adam K. pulley on my car with...

That was a 4th gear pull for sure. I have to agree, I haven't hooked up my secondaries yet, and it still pulls decent over the stock manifold. One of these day's I'll ge off my ass and open up that digikey box  To test, just apply 12v to the MTV motor and you will hear it flick open. Could be...

nice vid clip forsure, was that a 3rd gear pull?, ya my car pulls like normal up the whole range, it doesnt lag from 5to redline but it doesnt seem like its gaining either, just continuous if that makes sense, and i dont got that sound i difference at 5k either. I would assume it was in 4th gear ac...

believe me, if theyre not working, itll feel as low youre down about 20hp from 5k-7k.... otherwise, youre fine I only partly agree. At first whim, I would completely agree, but I don't have my secondaries wired up yet on my car, and from 5k-redline it still feels pretty dang good. Really does...

You have to be at wide open throttle. If you're close to WOT, but not quite, they won't open. Take it to redline, and make sure you've got the pedal all the way to the carpet. Besides listening for it to get louder around 5k, I don't know of a way, besides cutting your connector off the MTV and appl...

lol you counter your UDP with an ODP? lol why not going stock then? A UDP on the crank and an ODP on the alternator is a great setup. The pulley on the crank is much lighter, and it's mass is closer to the centerline of the crank's rotating mass. That's where most of the performance gain lies....no...

AdamK. is the one you are after. I think he is on the other dot org. He has been inactive for a LONG time now on .org, and I talked to him a while back, he is no longer making the Alternator ODPs.... Josh Hm. Shoot. A higher output alternator is always an option, but I really just want a bigger pul...

Where to get an overdrive pully for alternator?
Instead of getting a new alternator, I'd like to simply put a bigger pulley on it, to counter-act my crank UDP. Is there one available? I thought I had heard of it, but then I did some searching, and I didn't come up with anything. Any input in this area? Thanks!

Yeah, the bracket is way too huge to work on the Magnum intake mani. It was so big and heavy, I kinda wanted to scrap it and make my own that was simpler and lighter, but decided that it bolts up so nice, I should just use it and modify it to work. Thanks for the comment Kevin. I try to be as helpfu...

Very nice! You ever think about tinting the windows? Not only would it go with the new tails but tints would look nice on a silver car (and many other colors). Tint coming up this spring.
