Wow. Huh. I wonder how much shop rates would be, if you had NO connections, for a reputable local shop to do a complete turbo install. I've never thought about it, because that would be like heresy or hypocrisy or anarchy or......something horrible for someone else to work on my car. I bet tha...

Nice! I really like those later model R/T wheels on it. If it was lowered, it would be perfect. But, I'm sure it rides real nice the way it is now, and probably handles good too.

The more oil ends up on the crank, the more oil get slung around at high speed, thus the more air bubbles you get in the oil. Which is bad. Windage trays and crank scrapers both have the same goal. Crank scrapers "wipe" the crank lobes clean each revolution, windage trays keep the oil "level" in the...

does the es/rt mean you put an r/t drivetrain in your car? that would explain differences. between yours and mine. but i thought all neons except the srt had the nvt-350. The R/T means I have swapped the Magnum head and intake manifold into my car. I still have the standard 2000 manual transmission...

As far as I have been able to find, the only transmission fluid recommended for the A578 manual transmission is the Mopar semi-synthetic, part number 4773167. ATF+4 isn't recommended for the A578 tranny. I assume that the Mopar fluid, p/n 4773167, is more like a gear lube. All I know, is that mine w...

It's possible. Make sure the mat isn't behind your throttle, and then see what happens. Just make sure you don't floor it so hard you break something.

The alternator ODP is NOT a bigger pulley. It is in fact nearly half the size of the original pulley and much lighter weight. It must be smaller to turn the alternator faster. A larger pulley, like the Mopar Perf. pulley would turn the alternator more slowly. I have an Adam K. pulley on my car with...

That was a 4th gear pull for sure. I have to agree, I haven't hooked up my secondaries yet, and it still pulls decent over the stock manifold. I would assume it was in 4th gear ac...

You have to be at wide open throttle. If you're close to WOT, but not quite, they won't open. Take it to redline, and make sure you've got the pedal all the way to the carpet. Besides listening for it to get louder around 5k, I don't know of a way, besides cutting your connector off the MTV and appl...

Good question. I'm about 98% sure that they are the same. When you look up fuel injector part numbers for like '01-'02 Neons, there is only one part number, opposed to a "with R/T" or "without R/T".

lol you counter your UDP with an ODP? lol why not going stock then? A UDP on the crank and an ODP on the alternator is a great setup. The pulley on the crank is much lighter, and it's mass is closer to the centerline of the crank's rotating mass. That's where most of the performance gain lies....no...

Where to get an overdrive pully for alternator?

Instead of getting a new alternator, I'd like to simply put a bigger pulley on it, to counter-act my crank UDP. Is there one available? I thought I had heard of it, but then I did some searching, and I didn't come up with anything. Any input in this area? Thanks!
