I'll bet you love that R&D. When I had mine I LOVED the way it sounded. I really regret selling it  Me too. On both accounts lol :( Well, so far I'm 2 for 3. I have a car that the original owner regrets selling, an exhaust on the car that the original owner regrets selling, but I don't think z...

My 2001 R/T

My new 2001 R/T, these are the first real pictures since I've had it. Houston, we have liftoff! I put on a spare valve cover, filled her up with oil, flushed the coolant, changed the thermostat and then filled her up with new coolant last night late. I couldn't wait to take it out, so I went for a midnight spin. Everything is awesome. Car drives straight, no shaking o...

I agree with what you guys are saying. BUT. I also know there is a LOT of margin in stuff like this. Modern could sell them for $200 and make money easy. And I'd pay $200 for one. But I don't think I'd pay $250 or $275.

Depends on your cam. If you're using a regular cam, magnum cam, Crane 12 or Comp 200....the long tube won't help much at all. However, with a bigger cam like a Crane 14 or a Crane 007, then the long tube is nice. But even then, it's only "nice" to the tune of a couple horsepower. Nothing groundbreak...

Yes, that Vibrant cat is the exact style you would want to use. And you'd want to extend your downstream O2 sensor wires and have a bung welded on somewhere south of the cat, so you don't throw any codes....the honest way.

I ran a magnum head with a longtube header and no cat on my old car. It sounded decent, but really not that great. It was loud. If I could do it over again, I would install a high flow cat behind the long tube. You'll need a low profile or "bullet" style cat, because it has to fit in the center tunn...

Here's a link to my friends car. If anyone is looking for a low mile, super clean, very nice babied car, this is it. They've got the asking price way too high, and they know it. I bet they'd take $5700. To summarize: 2004 Dodge Neon SXT, 5-speed, only 63k miles. Very very very clean inside and out. ...

It's just crazy to me that an ATX NGC with those mods only made 100whp. With similiar mods, but a smaller cam, I made 135whp on my 2000 MTX.

35whp is a TON.

So it is possible to do on a mtx so would it be possible for 130 on a atx? Yes, I'd say 130whp is probably the highest goal you should set for staying with the ATX. The mod list I would shoot for in order to acheive this would be: -Ported/polished head (mag head if possible, but your standard head ...

They're both 5 layer MLS right? Use copper spray-a-gasket sealer with both, unless the Felpro says not to specifically.

I'd say play a game of eeny-meeny-miney-mo. They're both the same thing basically.

Seriously? 144whp bone stock? That is extremely impressive. All the magnum motor dyno's I've seen are only around 130whp stock. Do you have the dyno sheet?

But the wife's RAV4 needs new tires, and I'm going to try the Platinums on it. If I like them, I'll p...
