Mmmmmmmm, cinnamon glaze.....Welcome! Yup, 3spd. Don't sweat it too much. If you take care of it it will take care of you. For some reason these cars grow on you. And yes you're lucky to have the black interior! Don't know what your plans are but black rims with a red lip would look sweet with the C...

Later 2002s as I found out when I ordered my MPx 60mm TB had a 4 spd auto. (makes a difference in a sensor hook-up) This was before they lumped the base and SE models into the SXT model in 03. (some kind of weird trickle-down change-over thing) So would it be worth the money for a car with just bolt...

Just a crazy idea: has anyone tried to swap in a PT engine? My buddies LT had 165hp NA. Wanted his engine with my car because it felt like it wanted to go but the PT is like driving a weeble-wobble. Touring suspension my ass!

Exactly, thanx! My lazy ass didn't feel like running downstairs to check, I guess 2730 isn't that far off then with fluids and all.

I think the door sticker says like 2650 lbs. on mine, I'd assume maybe that's from the factory before gas, oil, wiper fluid, brake fluid, steering fluid.....fluids? Just the weight of the mechanicals? Still cool to know so yes, get your suspension tuned and have some fun with your big ass!

Bought my car Dec 01 from the dealer with 15 miles on it. Today it has 100,397. Kept up on the oil changes (switched to synthetic), flushed trans fluid twice (overkill), replaced accessory belts and plugs...that's about it. No major surgery. As far as power goes my only complaint is they should've m...

AC / blower hiccup?

Anyone have this "problem"? After about an hour of driving with the a/c on the cold air stops and it feels like just the blower is running. if I shut it off for about 5 min and turn it back on again it's fine. for about another hour. Been like that for a while. More annoying than a problem, one of t...

Took mine off to clean behind it and couldn't get it back up right (tore it a little getting it off) and just left it off. Someone told me once that the paint on the top of the hood will cook from engine heat and discolor over time but that just sounds silly to me. I think the sun would kill your pa...

Performance ECU for 02 SE?

Got a 02 SE with 4spd auto. Have CAI, TB, header, axle back Vibrant muffler, OEM replacement cat conv. What ECU upgrades are avail (not piggyback type) or would it be worth it for a car with just the basic bolt-on goodies? (internals stock)

Sweet hood. I don't think it would matter much what intake you got. The front middle opening looks like it would channel air in while the two side vents look to channel heat out. The intake is too far to the d-side to channel air from the hood to it. It's not like a muscle car where the opening fits...

Had a "fart can" muffler without the cat conv and it was louder than hell. I used to piss people off in the parking garage downtown, make them deaf and setting off all the car alarms, good cheap fun! So had enough of that, replaced cat conv and got the Vibrant duel tip muffler to go better with my b...

Don't know if Iceman CAI is still avail but if you can find one it works well! If it is your first upgrade not so much but as you open up your exhaust (header mostly) and espescially after the MPx TB install you'll hear the swooosh and go! I am currently running the Ventus tires (205-40-17). Put maybe 10k miles since Nov.2006 and rotated once. I've had Falken 512s and Nitto 450s previous to these. So far I like them much better over the Falkens as far as wet traction goes (Falkens are too unpredictable in the wet in my opinion. Spun o...

CF Hood Fade, help!

First of all, please forgive if this has already been posted by someone else. I've had my IP2 CF Hood on for about 3 years now and now it appears that the surface coating (whatever came from the factory) is starting to fade and loose its shine. I tried wax and buffing and all types of polish but it ...

Hello Everybody! Heard about this site from a guy in CarDomain and thought I'd check it out. First impression...I'm glad it's not full of haters and knuckleheads! I'm not a street racer or a drag racer, just a guy with a Neon and a heavy foot once in a while! This Neon is the first car I've modified...
