I may not know if this is true for all vehicles, but my old 1987 Oldsmobile and our 2006 Toyota's AC and accessories are shut off when the car initially starts. I think they may be all like that.

Believe me, I'd like to do some engine modifications, but the car came with a dealership 7 year unlimited mileage warranty. Covers mechanical, so if I blow a transmission or an engine it's a new one free of charge. Can do audio and some appearance modifications, but thats about it.
