They won't. You have to either grind them down (the studs), or drill into the wheels where the studs contact. The latter would be easy with a drill press and some careful measurements, but I would rebalance the wheel anyways.

Nah, not really... I had a 1G DSM and the exhaust exited just behind the passenger side front wheel (and tucked in a bit)... left the muffler/tips just for stock appearances ;)

I am hoping to read enough reviews to tell me that the ride is gentle compared to the BC's on my other 2GN.

How low are you dropping it? Those look like 16's, yes?

Ahhh yes my long day got the better of me. Maybe a 7mm spacer? HEY there is a way you can TEST this! Get you some washers at Home Depot. Double them up, triple them up, whatever. Mount the wheel and snug down the lugs and roll around a bit to settle the suspension properly. Get it where you like it,...

I wonder how good (or bad?) the ride can be on coilovers that cost less than 4oo bux. I guess someone will inevitably find out for us! I like the wheels. I agree with the few people that said more lowz, but I also like your plans for a *mosdest* drop. I'm not a follower of slammed or stanced anythin...

1" seems a bit much for the front with 7" +40 wheels. What tires are you running? 205's? 215's?

I have long considered running spacers in the back for a wider rear track.... I run with 1.5 deg. camber in the back and a 1" spacer back there would just tuck me into the rear quarterpanels nicely.

You said it correct... boring. Comfy, respectable by your elders, maybe women might prefer riding in that because it makes you seem more responsible with your choices. But it's very uninspiring. Which I suppose makes it a great DD lol. Full leather, AWD, and a V6 means who gives a shit how uninspiri...

Torque strut replacement alternatives: looking for OPINIONS

I have the top/bottom AGP's on my 2000 Neon, and they're a great part, no doubt. But yes, there is a lot of vibration when you start up from the stoplight or are at idle. The torque struts on my SRT-4 are broken. No surprise eh? I want my SRT-4 to be more of a daily driver type of car. Therefore, I'...

Who here has used energy suspension inserts in OEM spec torque struts? How much vibration was it? Noticably So? I also have the AGP ones in my other 2GN and dislike the vibration.

Also, why do you have to align the engine? Never heard of this before, and didn't do that with my other 2GN.

Mufflers on SRT-4's? non-SRT pedals on SRT-4's?

I just realized that my '03 SRT-4 doesn't have the aluminum pedals with the rubber bumps, but instead has normal non-SRT pedals. Are the fancy pedals just on a later year? Also, I saw not one but two SRT-4's with MUFFLERS... dual tips, and a sideways can like an R/T has. My 2003 has NO mufflers, jus...

If it's an automotive-grade poly-clear it will be as good (or better) than the clear on your factory paint.

2GN I NEED YOU! Short in my driver side headlight!

Ok, so I was installing halo projectors (Type 1), and got them wired up right... powered both the halos and the LED turns off the turn/parking plug (3-wire amber bulb). Everything worked perfect for both sides. So I tucked the passenger side light back into the chassis, and that went fine... but the...

BC's can be had with all four camber-adjustable top plates. I know because I ordered mine that way.

I wouldn't go with anything else. And yes, Megans are made by BC but they are NOT the same spec as actual BC.

Megan are just rebadged BC, although a lower spec than what BC sells you. I run BC and I wouldn't use any other coilover on a 2GN... the ride is surprisingly mild for a coilover, and the parts are quality. You can also rebuild them from what I understand. If you're worrying over the looks then you m...

Probably both! My best friend is responsible for getting me into 2GN's in the first place. Her and I basically trimmed out the first 2GN together. She's the one who wants me to do the five speed swap on the 2000. She wants to drive it. If I went up north to a meet, she'd want to tag along in the 2000.

It needs a few things... has a minor oil leak which I'll have to sort out, and I need to change the oil. Power steering rack sensor that needs to be replaced but I already bought it. Gonna try to do that in a few mins. Needs an alignment, mostly in the rear. Otherwise it starts up and purrs.... shif...

Some of you noticed I was seriously considering giving up my IS300 for an SRT-4. Last night, I did so. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/arrospeed/Neon/SRT-4_122212_02.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/arrospeed/Neon/SRT-4_122212_01.jpg It's a 2003. Another P0202, this one may be human error

A friend was cleaning out the engine bay, used some degreaser and lightly sprayed out the bay with the hose. Not soaked. Just rinsed off key areas. I'm thinking he didn't understand that the computer is in the engine bay because on his car it's in the kick panel. Started the car up, ran fine for a m...

Seems to be a very solvable thing. And not difficult.

So yeah not afraid of a little 3rd gear trouble. Not at all after reading that.
