At $450-600 for powdercoating (all four wheels) plus the fact that powerdcoat shops take their sweet time (I know I've powdercoated lots of things), NO THANKS.
I've been searching w/ Google and seen lots of paint jobs on wheels, and they look just as good when done right.

You consider BC's the "cheap" ones? And Mopars better? CF Fuel Door finally came in
These guys took forever... said the first batch was bad, and I said fine... they kept emailing me without prompting to let me know status. Sheesh, two weeks later... I get this in the mail: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/arrospeed/Neon/fuel_door_1.jpg I'm sure 2gn.org's forum software shrunk...

I remember reading an article in Sport Compact Car where they painted a WRX flat black, using spraycans, and they filled a bucket with warm water. Then they placed the spraycans in it. Said the warmer temperature raised the internal pressure inside the cans, and resulted in better atomization of the...

Arro - Not that I'm aware of... you'll need to swap. I believe dutchofsc tried to spice and it didnt work. Yeah I saw that, but then I read this: The code is back because the NVLD doesn't work correctly due to the way you installed it. With the NVLD device capped off, it can't possibly pass the lea...

That doesn't seem consistent with what I was reading on the org... or is the 2.4L SRT engine different bolt pattern than the 2.4L DOHC nonturbo from the Stratus/PT Cruiser? I had thought they were basically the same with different internals... from what I can tell, many neon peeps have bolted the 2....

Ok so sliiiight bump... I could swear I read somewhere that '00 was NOT a computer-controlled ATX, which is why those guys on SRTfourms seek them out for their MTX-to-ATX conversions. SO, as such, an '00 should be abel to run any MTX you want, yes? So theoretically... can I run a T-850 from an SRT-4...

Yeah he's right, there's lots you can do with the 3-speed ATX: http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=182581 http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=188746 This is great for drags and street. If I were into drag I'd do this, since I already have an '00 ATX (not computer-controlled...

Well the BC's are more than enough for my plans, since this is a daily driver I want to moonlight on the track for weenend road club events this summer. Like you said, these aren't as comprehensive on feartures as you could go, but I'd say they're pretty damn close, and could be run quite successful...

Well yes, I know what you're talking about... it's basically what I was planning... taking the SRT struts I have and gutting them, sticking in Koni inserts, and then sleeving them. I bought the SRT struts/shocks along with an exhaust, all for 200, so I'll just say I invested $100 in them. $100 for S...

Re: NVLD
acr man. do yo know any way to full the nvld pump to think it works without having to do the whole wiring and all. i would love to see the code go away, because it comes on and off every couple of days. on the steering rack, i had to cut the threaded rods and modify the endlinks. i hava just a litt...

Okay, found some Koni's for what looks to be a good price: http://www.autocarparts.com/cars/Dodge/SRT%5e4/ALL/Koni/ Shipping ground is around $12, so under $325 for the pair of inserts. Grinding off the spring perch makes sense if I plan to use sleeves. I know from my DSM days that they used to do i...

Intercoolers that fit?
What's going to fit in my '00 bumper without lots of modification? Anyone here have an SE (or similar R/T) bumper with an IC in it? Pics?
Edit: I should add I read the sticky, I'm mostly interested in pictures if at all possible.

REAR swaybar? I just got underneath my '00... I see a couple "bars" in the back that have their ends inside of rubber bushings, but they seem to be two seperate pieces, and don't link together as one rear bar. ??? Am I missing something here? Alarm Remote?
I see a few alarm remotes for "00-03 neon". My Neon doesn't have a remote, but then again it might have (I am not the first owner), but it does have that security key thing and the alarm does go off if you lift the hood or try to open a locked door when locks are engaged. Was a remote typically incl...
