You could also try an easyout and heat to get the broken ones out. all there is on the other side is a welded nut. If that breaks loose you're screwed. You could get away with red bulbs in the rear, if you did the reverse (backup) light conversion. (Search the how to's) But IMHO it wouldn' look right and with the brakes on maybe not to noticeable. Spray it with penetrating oil - WD-40 or the like. Agreed, but without pics... I think he's saying the bracket on the TB, if the dipstick is hitting between the cable attaching brkt and where it attaches to the throttle cam, then he will have to move the TB. But that's just a guess.

You also didn't mention what year/Trim level you have. the mtx's have two different O.D. ratios it's possible (a long shot) that yours is the lower numerically 0.72 vs 0.81) which would make the motor work harder. If you had the power to back the 0.72 then the top speed would be higher than the 0.81...
