There are aftermarket kits out there that you can install that will use the existing crank gear just with a motor. You just have to find a way to cover the hole and route the power and wiring.

My opinion though, not worth the time/money/weight. Just my $.02.

I've run that tire size with no issue before, but then again it was a 7" tire. I would say you're definitely going to at least have to run a spacer

you can use heat to help you get it off. Try some dental floss to work behind the adhesive as well. you will inevitably be removing some residue when you're done though, so have goo gone on hand and ready!

Always nice to see another Neon in the hands of someone who will care for it.

If you'd like a cluster, I have one I might be willing to part with, however it's out of an '05. I do not know for sure if it will just plug in or not, so do some research first.

Popping noise

Brain picking time... When I back my car out of the driveway, when I first give it gas in reverse I get a big pop in the front end. Then I get it again once when I first put it in drive and start moving forward. I've recently replaced control arms with prothane installed control arms (ball joints ar...

How To: replace ignition actuator pin in steering column

So, I was going to do a detailed write up on this, but then found this video on the Tube. It's a PT Cruiser, but there is virtually no difference in the steps performed.

and another video with a 00 neon

I like how the guy did it on SRT forums.
