its a 2002 neon, base model, as stripped as you can get it from the factory. 2.0l engine, 5 speed manual, bought in 2004 for $5k with only 30000k on it pretty sure its not the "HO" high output model. Im pretty much gonna try and find some junkyards around here and see what i can come up with. Thanks...

mines got the same thing. its not a knock like a tick, but almost like the car is "coughing" its really hard for me to explain it. But it does comfort me now knowing that it is a common thing among neon owners

The gauges in my car dont have an rpm gauge, soooo....i went on ebay and found a nice instrument cluster with a tach. anyhow when i installed it it had 130000k on it when my car only has 63k. Anyone know how i can get the gauges im putting in to say my mileage?

ok so i read into my owners manual of my 2002 neon and it says that if the check engine light flashes "to alert to serious conditions that could lead to immediate loss of power or severe catalytic converter damage when the engine is running." GET YOUR CHECKED ASAP!!!

My 02 neon came frim the factory with no a/c. is it possible to install a/c into it or would it be a waste of time? can anyone give me a clue as to how much work it will take and if its worth it?
