auto transmissions are pretty easy to work on, i would get a jy trans and go through it to make sure it was in good shape. I highly recommend an external cooler this time. summit sells one for about 30-40 bux.

aah i stand corrected then. thought the 400 had a bit of overlap. Anyways, i do recommend 93 octane, i had loud knocking on 91.

I would not run the magnum cam, it will most likely knock like crazy on 91. you probably want at least a comp 400 to bleed off some compression. that should be ok on 91-93 and work well with the stock rev limit. i don't think you would need any real fuel mods. as long as you don't have a huge cam an...

yes but i dont wanna have to re cut my frame rail, the tire only has like 1/4" before it rubs even with the pinch welds out.

I vote for gold powdercoat on the wheels with the ecasta's; they grip like crazy. As for the clutch, mine is pretty grabby and doesn't engage till the last few inches of travel. My trans did rattle, then again it had multiple things going on like vibration from mounts, big cam, etc. i could hear wha...

for that hp you are going to need a better header, a crane 14 or comp 400, and at least a magnum head. compression and port work will help too. I would just get a magnum head and have it milled a bit to bring the compression up. the mopar stage one cam only adds like 5 hp. go with the comp 400 if yo...

don't port the head untill you start getting some serious mods like a long tube header and big cam. just stick with the bolt ons. i would go with an iceman intake, 60 mm t/b, udp, cam, and magnum/borla header. a muffler helps a lot also, i recommend a flowmaster 40 series or a vibrant hushpower.

The lock rings aren't in the way, the axle boot is. I have tons of room to thread now with these springs, but no more clearance :( Need a shorter threaded body, it's the only physical way to go lower now. did you drop any of the pre load? there should be room to drop the spring, not the threaded bo...

if the trans is cable then you need to source a bellhousing from a 2gn so that you can use the hydraulic setup.
