blew my door speakers!

ok so, i blew my door speakers, cause there is no more noise coming out of them, and they're making popping/buzzing noises. the question i have is how are the dash tweeters wired up? do they quit working if the doors do? i can't hear the dash speakers working, and i don't see how they could be blown...

it is physically too large in diameter. it can be put on a lathe and trimmed down enough to fit

yes the 2.0 tranny will bolt up. i have a 2004 srt motor in my 97 with an automatic 3 speed, and everything bolts up just fine. the 5 speed should be no different.

you need the srt axles. the outer part is the same on 2nd gen and srt. both fit 2001 and up hubs, but the srt inner part has a different ammount of splines

you should see a little bit larger gain, (not much) and alot better sound if you remove the box that sits in the drivers side fenderwell. i think it is to block out some of the resonant frequency. if nothing else, it saves you some weight....

the felt things work pretty well, as for cleaning, use baking soda and water to neutralize the acid and stop rusting/corrosion. i'm pretty sure that if you got a sealed battery such as an optima, you wouldn't have this problem as much.

the rates are 8k front 6k rear. the reason i like them is that they have the adjustable camber pillow mounts, and for under 1,000. the springs can always be fine tuned later...

megan racing coilovers

ok, so i've been looking at the megan coilovers. the only problem is that they're for the srt4 and my neon is a 2001. does anybody know if they will fit ok, or do i need to swap the knuckles in order for them to work.??
