there is sharp metal right under that ridge in the splash shield. i suggest you cut/ bend that over if you want to stay at this height and not destroy tires.

Nice color Choice sean!! From the pics looks almost the same color as my del sol. that's because it IS del sol green :D Looks sweet but I have a feeling this is going to be like a "JDM" mismatched bay, right? I don't even mind them at all, I just really wish the entire car was that color because it...

derek is correct. the best mods for handling would be lighter wheels and tires. a lighter coilover assembly. The bc inverted.s reduce the unsprung weight even more.... lighter rotors.... not much in the market for our cars here. aluminum/ tubular control arms etc. imo, the wheels and tires play the ...

head bolts can be reused if they are not stretched. you can check them against a straight edge. if the threads all sit against it flat, they are good. I don't recommend it though for as cheap as they are to buy new. rod bolts must be replaced. they are a 1 time use item. they stretch to give the pro...

why would you want to do this? not worth it imo. I have done it on my 2gn and it was super hard to turn and not worth the gain. my race car on the other hand where every pound counts... but it's your car, so the easiest way like dante said is to loop the lines on your stock rack. that seems to be a common problem on srt's. I've seen it several times just with local cars. you can fab up a spacer to go between the trans and the mount that bolts onto the front of the block there.

fidanza is decent if you replace the bolts with better ones and washers. they are cheap and easy to find.

the aem is a great piece, never heard of any issues with it but they are more money.

i do have a fidanza for sale with new bolts etc. used for maybe 10k miles. 60 shipped.

any reason why you want to keep standard bore? You should never just drop in a set of forged pistons regardless of what the mfr says. You need to measure YOUR bores and the pistons. Then have each cylinder honed to match the pistons. I would run at least 3-3.5 thousandths piston to wall clearance. a...
