yea, 13mm deep socket... went back and found out it's only $1 admission. Got the bolts and a 1st gen Neon emblem for nothing on the second trip Almost grabbed a chrome fuel rail.. didn't know they made em in chrome back in 02 before they started getting cheaper and cheaper with things toward the end...

Had a coupon for a free admission for a local pick-n-pull yard, decided to stop by at lunch. Forgot my frickin wrench tho, and it was kinda desrted, couldn't find anyone to borrow off of.... now gotta pay the admission to go back and get the stupid special mount bolts... oh, well...think it's only 5...

just curious... any problem with using SRT wheels on an SRT-D?

does the SRT-D have rear disc brakes, or is there still fitment problems with the stock springs/struts and rear drum brakes?

...or is it a moot point as long as you don't mount stock size SRT tires?

I didn't remove ALL the sheilds... just the one about 5 inch thing that covers the headers as they come off the engine... right behind the head...

hmmm... I just found the sorce of a rattle that I got rid of... it was the heat sheild right behind the motor... 3 of the mount points had rusted and were separated... and someone had tried to hold it on/down with some twisted wire..tried tightening, still got a rattle at around 2k on the tach. Just...

don't know about the 00-02, but on the 03-05, depends on if you have a rear lip kit on. Without the lip, most aftermarket dual exhausts don't even touch the rear bumper cover if you don't have a lip kit.

a question on the topic... which may affect someone looking for a deck on a budget... I've talked to at least 3 people...and now myself is included..about the decks that have an AUX input for an Ipod or any mp3 player... not the IP bus connect, but just a headphone type jack on the front of the unit...
