I think some of you are a little sensitive. I enjoyed my Neon and for me it was reliable never leaving me stuck anywhere on the road. With over 100,000 miles on the clock it took me all the way from Rouyn-Noranda, QC to San Antonio, TX... Google Map that road trip. But having something go wron...
...and so the modding starts. Well, "mod lite" in my case since I will not be doing any engine or suspension mods. I'm using the USB connector in the glove box to play my music. Sure beats loading or changing CD's. Ordered a cup holder mount for the GPS which gives me the option of placing it ...

Although I am no longer a Neon owner I have a list of parts from memory on my 2001 that needed to be replaced. I have to say that I had no problem obtaining any of them through the dealer. Some had to be ordered and generally arrived the next day. The most difficulty I had was obtaining the hydrauli...

Re: Looking for opinions (Web Hosting content)

Your rear struts must be completely shot.akirony wrote:Im sitting at a light for about 2mins, then I feel myself going up and down. My car was bouncing and I had it in neutral waiting to shift-brake down. Has this happened to anyone else? Felt like someone was jumping in the backseat.

so I did the belts..easy enough. Turns out the bottom bolt for the alternator had decided to let the nut fall off somewhere on the side of the road...after 10 years of use..weird! So it had backed out which explains what the odd rattling/worn bearing sound I heard was. So now all is back together a...

The CX-7 looks good but it had a ton of road noise when we test drove it. The Equinox has a much nicer ride too. All of this is turning pretty moot because my wife's parents want a new GC and they were offered shit for trade. So we will get a great deal on a 2006 GC. It does have 106,000 miles but ...

The tail light gaskets...really! who would have thought! I am dreading the timing belt/water pump because I live in an apartment so it is the down time as well as the fact that I have to keep it low key and can't lock it up in the garage...figure I will start it on a saturday and try to get it done...

I guess the question is....what else is going to go wrong in the near future and is this car worth putting the effort into it? the clutch and bakes are good ....it develops enough water in the passenger side floor when it rains that I have phone books turned upside down to try to dry it out...it's ...
PLans?=D Yes, worry free and reliable motoring for several thousand miles. The following has already been done: -tint -wheel locks -body side moldings Considering: -door sill plates -figure out how to mount the GPS -getting an iPod to hook up to the system so I don't have to mess with CDs Yes...

I did consider the Santa Fe, but I don't think I can bring myself to buy a Korean car. I know they've come light years from when they first were brought to the states, but I just don't think I can do it. I know how you feel. Before deciding on the Fit I went to Hyundai and had a serious look at the...

I'd pick the CR-V over the Equinox all day. Considering their price points and the apparant value, the Equinox is the better choice for us. In terms of trade-in value the CRV will retain more value over the years than the Equinox will. BTW, the Equinox and the GMC Terrain are essentially the same v...
Finalized the deal this evening. This has been the strangest new car purchase experience I have ever had. Sales fellow allows me to take the car out by myself for a test drive... I was gone for an hour. We agreed on a price but did not sign any papers. They help me move the stuff from the Neon to th...
