exterior lighting is different in every state. here in ohio you can have any color light you want to, anywhere on your car, inside or out. the only requirement is that you have no flashing red or blue lights on the front of the car as they are reserved for emergency vehicles. on an old car i had the...

definately run the power and ground wires down one side and all others on the opposite side of the car. if you have the wire already you may as well run it but there is no need to ground at the battery. it is grounded to the car already.

that amp alone will not be enough to power 2 type-r subs. they are rated at 500rms each and can really take more than that on a daily basis. if you are set on that brand and line of amps, you will have to get a http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=19252 and then buy t...

40mm will work fine, i am not worried about that. i will just have to switch to 205/40 tires. everyone has their own opinion on what looks good on a car. that is why there are an almost infinite number of wheels patterns and colors available. i have a set of 18" wheels that look very good on my neon...

do not use bondo brand resin. it contains wax and will require you to sand the entire surface between layers or your next layer(s) will not stick properly. for an average sub box you need 5-7 (at a minimum) layers of 1.5oz mat to have enough strength. at my best i can only lay down 3 layers at a tim...

don't sand them on the car. lay down 3 layers and then remove and fill/sand as needed. they won't lose their shape.

mat or cloth will work. cloth is a bit smoother but requires more layers vs mat. either way you will have to fill and sand to get it fully smooth.

they didn't vut a hole in the surround. earlier models had a light there which was eventually removed from production.

dunno what the problem may be but swapping out to an aftermarket hu is a piece of cake. just buy a kit and the correct harness adapters available at any car audio place or bestbuy.

the easiest way to get to them is to remove the rear seat, at least imo. pull up on the bottom portion of the seat - it is only held in place by 2 clips. get a #55 torx bit and remove the bolts at the bottom of the rear seat, then lift it up and out. lift up the carpet and go to town. some say you c...
