With tires, everyone likes a different tire. I prefer goodyears especially since they came on the neon from the factory. Anyplace you get them should rotate them for free anytime you want. My place does. The squeal happens when you turn the a/c on doesn't it? See if you can tighten that belt. Someti...

maybe the fuel injector isn't in there all the way? My sister's first gen had the spark plug tubes pop up, and you had to push them back into the valve cover... try pushing it back in! You could also get someone to rev the car wildly in park and see if fuel goes everywhere... if you don't have someo...

It was on mythbusters. http://graphjam.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/song-chart-memes-mythbusters-method.jpg You're better off putting the windows down at low speeds ~40 and under. It will have almost no effect on fuel economy. When you're on the highway turn the a/c on. It's better than rolling the w...

it's ok to have the top off, but it's sucking in hot air from the engine bay. I believe you'll get better gas milage because of the less dense air... or that's what i've been told. If you leave the top on the air box will be insulated from the hot temps of the engine bay and your engine will run mor...

Ive done it before and its easy. On drum brakes whenyou adjust them you are also adjusting the ebrake. The drum is both. On disk the ebrake shoes are inside the rotor and can also be adjusted. Good point. Some people don't know that a rear disc setup has drums inside the top hat of the rotor. Rear ...

Re: Average ATX price
Average price for a used atx? Some lady wanted $250 and it had like 60k on it. I was going to go tell her to go f herself but i'm not sure on their going rate Somehow I don't think that would go over well. I think you did the right thing by not saying anything! If you really want it offer $20...

well, back to your original question. Yes, you can swap first gen discs into second gen neons. The rotors aren't as thick as SRTs, but they're discs. To be safe, I'd also get the backing plates. Get some stainless steel braided lines since you don't know what kind of shape the donor vehicle is in, a...

your parking brake is messed up somehow. I'd park on huge hills and use the e-brake and i was fine. I'd pull it up slowly in traffic and i would slow down after about 2-3 clicks. I've got discs and if you pull it slowly it does the same thing. If you pull it all the way to the top it will lock up th...
