Clean up your car (if it's cluttered) empty your trunk too. These things add weight that unnecessarily burn more gas.

That's why I went with a K&N drop in and rigged up a Ram Air deal to bring cold air up to the stock box. I'm in east TN 10 minutes from UT. I drive down I-40 for about 8 minutes every day to and from work which is where I'd be most worried about ingestion. I had this same problem 2 oil changes ago...

I ended up having to put the car on jack stands and laying down directly underneath it with vice grips and eventually managed to break it loose.
