Do you have a link or picture of them? We both agree that it needs something where the fogs should be, but I haven't done much research on the aftermarket for her car yet. And once we get back from vacation, I'll try to find time to get them both cleaned up again and take some better pictures. Hers ...

Newer pics of my SRT and the lady's new VDub

I took these a couple weeks ago and sort of forgot about them. I just wanted to take some pictures of mine with some of the things I've done lately, and she obviously wanted some of her new car. My latest: IPP coilovers HIDs yellow fogs wingless FTW!! Hers: 2008 VW Jetta Wolfsburg Edition 2.0T 6 spe...

Looks great, but I think I like the '03 wheels a little better. Maybe once the '01s are painted I'll change my mind.

The new stance is hot too, fuck the haters. I actually think the front needs to come down a smidge now though, I prefer a raked look over the level look on our cars.

I think the stance is damn near perfect. I'm about the same heighth on my IPP, but I have to admit I'll probably get brave and go a little lower in a couple weeks.

It needs Raccoon headlights and the side mouldings removed though. Looks good!

Your plans sound good, but I'd go with color-matched eyelids so they flow with the hood and fenders. Black would definitely clash.

I like the first set, but your car definitely needs lowered and something done with the yellow calipers first.

Keep an eye out for a set of used coilovers, you can usually score some nice ones for around $600-$700 and it makes a world of difference in both looks and handling.

I like how you left the base of the mirror black, it keeps the trim flowing. Unfortunately, that really the only thing I like that you did. The corners look ok, but the C pillars break up the flow of the window trim, and the grille pieces and the scoop insert, I'm just not feeling them at all. I thi...

That's how I plan on doing my wheels soon, except with a blue lip instead of the red.

Those turned out excellent for a backyard spray can job. I'll have to look into that clear, that would be a lot easier than lugging all my wheels into the paintbooth and mixing clear and dirtying my gun!

now all you need is the front and rear lip Meh. I'm not a fan of either of them. I am happy with just the sides. Non-conformist ftw. Sides being lower than the front and rear ftl. They do look good, but I think it at least needs a front lip. The blend on the rear door is pretty rough, but I'm sure ...

If anything you could prime them and block them to get them ready for paint, them let somebody else spray them. You don't have to worry about any runs or sags in the primer since you'll be sanding it smooth anyway. It's a shame we're not closer to each other, besides the race, I do body and paint wo...

Honestly, as long as the clear is done right on them, 99% of the time black is black and you're not going to be able to tell a difference in the brand or color code of it. It's really the only color that works that way. I'd say throw a few good coats of a high quality filler primer on, let them dry ...

Looks good, but I think it needs the stock hood or CF eyelids. The eyelids clash with the hood.

Then again, nobody will see the front of the car once you get the goodies installed, lol.

I can see some flaws in them, but I really don't think it's anything you couldn't fix yourself.

I'll jump in line for the no-eyelid supporters. You're car still looks as hot as ever though. If you go back to eyelids, I'd do a smaller eyelid that doesn't cover up so much of the headlight. I would suggest shorties, but I know you had them in the past and didn't like how they lined up with the ho...
