Thanks for all the positive feedback. I painted the fogs tonight. I got the color how I wanted and was able to lay the paint down smooth as a baby's arse, but after checking on them an hour or so after the last coat there's a few dirt nibs in one and a tiny insect landed on the other and got stuck, ...

Nice!

But can you make just the outside edge of the wheel blue, not the whole outside. Like how your wheels have a polished lip, I want to paint them like that, but a blue lip.

Lowering and painting the wheels are in the plans, until I can find some aftermarket wheels I really like that haven't been overdone. As for debadging, the only badge left is the SRT-4, which I'm thinking about getting a Caliber SRT badge. I also forgot to mention that I bought TheTeejmiester's carb...

Two fairly easy requests

Anybody want to take a stab at making the foglights yellow in this pic? http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h176/mcwilliams1/picture002.jpg And lower it (not slammed, I'm planning on S-Techs) and do the wheels in black with a blue lip on this one? http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h176/mcwilliams1/pic...

Yes, I removed the crash bar. The front mount is an eBay one, can't think of the brand right off bat, but others have used it to hit 300+ whp successfully on the stock turbo, which is what I intend to do, and I like how it follows the opening in the bumper. I didn't really notice any difference in h...

Some pics of my Peon

Well, it was a little dirty, and the clouds came rolling in, but I took a few shots of my car the other day. I didn't get any pictures bone stock, but the only visual differences now are the big front mount and the removal of the Dodge emblem on the trunk. I have 6000K HIDs, but forgot to get a pict...

I was gonna say black with a red lip, but I see in your sig that you've done that before...

I would definitely paint the eyelids and remove the gas lid, then sell the B and C pillars to me! lol

Tom, Audrey and I both would absolutely love it if you could make it! We'll be at the Nats again this year too. No date has been set or anything yet, so far this is to see what kind of interest there is, looks like there's definitely some interest to me. I'll be sure to post any and all updates as s...

I can't wait to see this one progress, I didn't come around until the horrific end of your last car. I would definitely remove the side moldings when you debadge it, but leave the R/T on the doors, at least for now. Your plans sound awesome, but I think I'd leave the current wheels (you could paint ...

SE Ohio Meet

Hey guys, I'm fairly new here, but I've been around Neons for quite a few years. A local Neon buddy and myself are looking to get a Neon meet going sometime this summer. There is no set date yet, but we're planning on having it at Lake Alma State Park in Wellston. There are two small beaches, a few ...

I guess I'll be the first to say that I think it's a little too much. I think it would look better covered in the dark leather that your using on the steering wheel. Your car is a prime example of both the "less is more" and "subtlety is key" theories, and I just think that the silver on the armrest...

I do collision work for a living and let me tell you, it's what's underneath that adds up. I can tell from the pic that the front post took a shot, which means a lot of time on the frame machine would be involved, as well as a lot of cutting and welding on the main structure of the car. You're bette...

That sucks man. In my short time over here, your car definitely caught my eye. No worries though, you'll move on to better things. The first car is always the practice car, now you've got a gameplan for a hot setup on the next one! What are you gonna do with the AVS spoiler? I may be interested in i...

I am not a show car guy at all, but it looks pretty good. The only thing that catches my eye that hasn't been mentioned is the wheels. I think that the Motegi MR7's are terribly dated. You're car would look hot with a 19" wheel. I would say black with a polished lip, but even that's getting played o...

It is super clean, but you'd think with that kind of milage they would show a picture of the odometer. Maybe it's a typo and it's 20,800?

Please PM me a price on the downpipe, I'm looking to buy one this week! If you're not ready to part with it yet, I'm going to buy one local that doesn't have a cutout and weld one in.

Thanks,

Alex

That's definitely hot. Personally, I think it's due for some fresh racoon eyes and I think the side moldings should be pulled off, it'll make it look a lot smoother. That bumper's definitely seen better days. You'd be suprised how cheap you could get it repainted for, but then it might not match the...

its just a car, man. A 3000 mile trip is nothing. Change the oil before you leave, empty the catch can that I hope is on there a couple times each way, and change the oil when you get back. Its not like its a low-mile car. Good luck selling it. Ps, 44k miles on a 3 year old non-dd is alot. My '05 o...

CG is Cinnamon Glaze.

Even though I've always been a 1st gen guy until now, I think TNK is right about the '03-'05 being a slightly different color than CG.

The car does look pretty sharp, and I agree 100% that painted handles and a Mopar lip kit on that unit would be tits!

I finally made it...

Hey guys, some of you may know me from the .org, srtforums, or even 1gn.org. I recently got back into the world of Neons a couple weeks ago when I bought an '04 SRT-4 and I couldn't be happier. I've wanted one for years, but was in school or didn't have enough money, but now I'm done with all that a...
