well i have a 00 neon that was starting i while back with the chip key and needs to be reprogrammed because of a bad battery in the car sitting without power for a while and the next day started for 2 secounds 3 times and after that no more

thanks now i kno, but what about a 00-02 computer without skim?

what would happen if i put a 03 computer without skim in my 00 neon that has skim?

the srt-4's are located on sligh and florida ave. at b&r auto sales, yeah i want one, ive owned about 5 neons and dont plan to leave them anytime soon! Ive valet parked a couple but would like to have one for myself.

i was riding down the street here in tampa,fl and noticed alot of srt-4's back on the car lots. Are they out of style or is there some kind of problem with them. it was like 5 srt-4's on one lot and 2 on the other. lmk what's goin on here!

ok, i want to do the 03 headlight and taillight swap on my 2000 neon. I wanted to find out if its like plug and play or do i have to modify it so that it will work.

my car is a 2000 auto, and i checked the fuel pump relay and then when to where the gas tank was and listened to c if the fuel pump made any kind of noise.

so u are saying that the skim makes the fuel pump not work and you have to purchase another one? Is it possible to pull a computer and skim from another car and will it work then?

Well i bought this car from a small dealer, is ran before, then stopped running. Then dealer then replaced the skim module on the ignition column but didnt change out the computer to match the signal to the skim. after the new skim when attemptng to start the car to crank it would do nothing. is there anyway to override the sentry key system so that my car will start? i am 100% sure that is what the problem is. I want to avoid towing it to the dealer!

ok thats what i thought, what's wrong wit it being called a neon? to me its a 03-05 neon wit a factory bodykit and a 2.4 turbo'd motor.

im jus hoping that it is the problem, i talked to the dealer and they told me that the skim module was the problem. i mean the car was running perfect and all the sudden jus shut down on me, it really sounds like something is simple that needs to be done.

yea, the neon has the gray key with the chip, its like when you go to start it, nothing happens. the dash lights come up as if i was starting the car like a hybrid or something. then it has a red little dot in the corner of the gauge cluster.

about how much did they charge you to get the new key cut and programmed at the dealer? they told me its just 80 to re-program the skim and computer to the car, and i thought that would make the car run again.
