Launch RPM is debatable, but the fact that you want to spin to get the engine up into it's power band is not. These engines wake up at about 4500rpm so you want to get it above that as quickly as possible.

3" exhaust on a stock engine is way too big. The stock piping is much more appropriate.

Only because it's just a little more, replace it with new.

Otherwise I'd wash and oil it.

Come to think of it, my K&N is getting to about 50,000 miles since the last cleaning. Probably should clean it.

You would have to know how design with titanium because its actually more dense. The weight savings comes from being able to use significantly less meterial in the final product.

We had 2GN trivia at Carlisle last weekend to give away some Modern Performance hats.

The question was:

Who was the co founding member of 2GN?

Who flushed the coolant?

Sucks you just had it done since you have to drain it all to change the water pump.

If there is now a bubble that will cause overheating, But I'd be surprised at a cooler thermostat fixing it.

If you are overheating you have a problem that a cooler thermostat will only bandaid.

You need to find the root of the problem.

Have you changed coolant lately? If not you are about 4 years overdue.

How is you radiator cap?

Any funky noises coming from the water pump area?

Wait... Parks car on lawn in front of house, two grills on front porch, giant trash can blocking rusty front door, broken bicycle in the shrubs, and Christmas garland around the railing in July... I totally understand this car now. Good work, OP. Dude must live in Indiana . . . This gave me the lulz.
