Re: Castrol Magnatec thoughts?

Way too thick especially for your climate (assuming Canada because of KMs). You could possibly kill the engine on a really cold winter day without a block heater.

You're doing this all wrong. You are NOT supposed to use real engineering tools to design the best possible piece for your situation.

You ARE supposed to just throw junk parts on it and expect 700WHP.

Get it right.

I bought problem solvers from Moog. Been happy with them. That horrendous clunk went away because of the new bushings. Cheap labor to install them too. When I asked my mechanic about it he said to get the problem solvers and replace the whole thing because it would cost a lot of labor to do just the...

Justin, I was just poking fun at PA, I can buy it here with no issues. Frank, have you tried the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale Stout, and they had a seasonal Pumpkin Ale which was pretty damn awesome too. Lane, the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale is very similar to sipping some good Jack Daniels. I'm gon...

i agree with the above, if you cant appreciate good craft beer then you are no beer connoisseur , heck you really shouldn't judge beer at all for that matter. Agreed. I'll try a 4 or 6 pack of damn near anything. I have found I'm not big on very hoppy beers and IPAs continue to be a no go. IPAs are...

In MD, you can buy damn near any way you want as long as the store offers it that way.Pretty confident we've found a place in Baltimore that se...

$80 a case? Good grief, does it have gold flecks in it? It's just that good. Any small batch/craft beer is going to be expensive for a case. (Assuming 24 bottles) Considering a lot of them are $10 and up, for 4 bottles.... Depending on your state's liquor laws, you cannot buy just a 4 or 6 ...

Old Chubb Scotch Ale and a Guinness Red Harvest Stout.
I have never heard of a scotch ale until last month. Since then I've wanted to try it.

I've have bourbon barrel ale which is just fan-fucking-tastic. $80/case though.

I bought it from Summit Racing last time, had to pay shipping though. When I switched over I ran an engine oil change interval of Pennzoil Synchromesh to flush out any extra ATF just as a precaution, then I dumped the Synchromesh and put in the MTL. MTL has been in for about 40000 miles. I might cha...

This is a very common problem on R/Ts. There was a huge thread on the big org years ago about it. Not much of a fix unless you put a catcher on that hose or your own little breather filter.

That port provides makeup air for the PCV system to suck in to the intake manifold.

I use the word "penalty" very loosely. They don't fine you, just make you pay per GB over, normally it's nominal at about $10/GB. It's really nothing to be worried about. In my opinion, those data estimators suck and are so biased towards the provider. I stream a lot of music on Pandora on my work p...

That's a nice little device. Be careful picking a data limit, they will want to you to pick a higher limit. If you don't have a clue how much you actually use, start low, you can always increase the limit and the "penalty" of going over isn't substantial. The Verizon Wireless "home phone" is essenti...

Last Friday marked the 10 year anniversary of owning my Neon. Picked it up brand new on Feb 14, 2004, mileage in the teens. Now it is in the 99000 area and has been driven less than 10000 miles in the last 6 years. The more important anniversary is 9 years ago this past Friday, I asked my girlfriend...

Any more, automatics are, as a rule, getting better fuel economy than the manual versions of a car. There are exceptions but in the economy minded configurations, automatics are winning. The programming and designs of modern automatics are definitely doing their part.
