Didnt think it would, my main concern which I forgot to mention is clearance from the tire to the bottom of the finder/quarter panel. I don't want fenders to be nomming on my tires over bumps and what not With Eibach Pro Kit no way you will be low enough for tire nommage. You could always just roll...

I do all highway miles, but most of that is bumper to bumper city traffic. I average 22 MPG in my Stage 3 SRT. I've been daily driving the ATX 05 sxt for the past 6 months or so. Yeah... I average about 25 mpgs in it.... I wonder if my driving style has an impact  I've seen your driving style ...

I like the looks of the new Dodge Dart, and it has a pleasant interior. From driving two different Rallye's from two different dealerships, (one was 1.4T, the other 2.0 n/a) the car is much too heavy for a 160 hp engine. The driving dynamics of the 2005 Dodge Neon SXT are much better. Let...

Yeah, I left that out for ease of understanding but you're correct. In reality you don't NEED the lock cylinder if you do the SKIM swap, just the SKIM module and then have a new SKIM key cut for your car and programmed but they look it up by the VIN and will probably program it for the old SKIM modu...

check the from horizontal lower control arm bushings they tend to fail. People like to put Prothane urethane ones in or the new MOOG problem solvers.

Re: PCM Flashing Service?

Let me clear up a few things... I'm pretty sure that I will need to flash the original VIN to the used pcm for the car to function after the swap. No? Yes and no... If you had also gotten the SKIM module, and ignition cylinder/key from the car the new PCM came from you wouldn't have to do this it wo...

What seems to go on them is the transmission cooler lines break off and spew ATF+4 all over the ground. Then you'll need a new radiator or separate transmission cooler. If that were all that happens it really wouldn't be an issue. the REAL problem is the cooler portion of the radiator cracks intern...

I know there are a few builds as Bill mentioned. Ryan Keyser (a23dranger) recently built a custom harness for a dirt track car so he stripped all the unnecessary crap out. You may want to look up those builds or PM him for details.

i'm gonna dissagree with you on that first one ryan, that def should be done at the same time as the water pump and timing belt. granted it does last longer than the rest of the components but who wants to rip back into the timing belt area just to replace a tensioner? NTM if never replaced it coul...

My guess is no. The jeep is probably controlled by the BCM or some other computer where it can be enabled or disabled, whereas the neon appears to be "dumb" and is integrated into the cluster circuitry or it isn't. My guess is cluster swap would be the only OEM way of achieving this... Again, I may ...

Re: Total noob swap help

My best bet would be to find a rear or possibly side collision SRT and use that as my donor car correct This. You already have an 05 so if you find a donor car, it's all plug and play and pretty straightforward. I got a complete donor for $1500 with a blown motor. Rebuilt it myself and used all the...

My suggestions, if you're trying to save money and do only what you NEED to do... tensioner/pulley/belt/water pump - skip tensioner and pulley. Your 03 ones will be fine EDIT - noobs, replace these items too rotor/brake pad/calipers - skip calipers radiator (i don't know if it needs 1 yet but figure...

Good point... I skimmed through, didn't see she was getting new struts.

Since you're at 95k... I'd be looking into getting a timing kit as soon as possible. The Gates kit can be had for about $100 on eBay.

Keep in mind since it's an 03 there will be no rear swaybar mounts on the stock struts.

Seems you don't have too many choices other than DSL. I have Verizon FiOS in my area and I'm pretty satisfied with it, but it doesn't fit your requirements as your house needs to be wired with coaxial wiring or there will have to be a hole drilled. I get fiber internet and HD cable for $79 (plus tax...

I think what Adam is getting at is that the top spring cap for the Racelands had a huge hole in them since they are meant for stock tophats. If left as is it will bind against the top plate and wiggle all around. Coils that come with plates will generally have a spring cap like below with a recessed...

I dealt with that guy on ebay and he was very good to deal with. He went out of his way to exchange some "universal" plates that I got and thought would work for some undrilled universal plates that he didn't even have and had to have them CNC cut special without the holes for the bolts.
