not sure where the comments about water pump and tensioner are coming from, but it's a given they need to be replaced and are all included in that $118 Gates set.

Have you checked to see that the timing belt is in tact and didn't snap? If it has around 100k + miles on it and it hasn't been replaced it's a pretty good bet it snapped and probably bent some valves. Always good advice, but if the injectors were spraying (in sequence) the cam is turning. PCM will...

Here's the thing... if it's in dealer inventory, 99% of the time they will not ship it to another dealer for you. If you live close by, great.

As long as you're ok spending bigmoney to rebuild the head, or buy a rebuilt one, sure, drive it until it snaps and destroys your valves... That said, no, it isn't a good idea to let it go you're pressig your luck as it is at that mileage. I'm not sure what "signs" you're expexting to see before fai...

Yes, the Hurst STS will fit in a non SRT neon. All 2gn shifters are interchangeable.

If you take it off, take some detailed pics of any markings on it. I'm aware of the part numbers being different, but I'm pretty certain the muffler is identical. If anything is different it is more than likely the inlet pipe size. To fit an R/T muffler on a non R/T you need an adapter pipe due to p...

it is, same setup as R/T. I think Adam meant YOU have an SRT bumper... no? If so, his muffler won't fit the width of YOUR cutouts... you'd have to roll the bumper to make it work and it looks terrible... I know because I did it.

Yeah. It's pretty surprising. The entire market for these cars has dropped off dramatically in recent years it seems. I think there are just so many beat to shit ones available for $4500-$6500 these days that no one cares about the nice ones or will buy them.

probably a skim issue. if that is the case you will need to swap the skim module and the lock cylinder from the srt as well As stdly said, you need the SKIM module and key from the SRT as well and you will be golden. Otherwise, if you don't have the SKIM module and key send me your PCM and I'll fla...

I don't believe that is necessary. the heatshield is sort of a clamshell design. the upper one fits OVER the bottom one, so that one should not need to be removed or unbolted.

I vote drop down to a 45 series tire from a 50, and throw on some spacers for better wheel fitment and call it a day. I like the clean look of a lowered SRT on stock wheels
