fixed..i didnt have the throttle body tube all the way one.. hehehe..

BUT now the compression blew out one of my spark plugs..so yeah...fun times..

wont idle

so i had the intake manny off, valve cover off all the sensors associated with these parts..and i put it all back together because i dont have time to fix the main problem i had, but NOW it wont idle.. the only code i threw was p0517 a battery code..could that affect the idle?? no check engine light...

that windshield sucks....but i dont have the money for a new one just yet..

i use to run that hill at about 2am..thats when i ran it the hardest...when i was tryin. i made it up in about a 1:26..thats hard on all right hand corners, but for some reason i wasnt comfortable takin the lefties as fast

i know the budget was kinda low, but im kinda thinkin of throwin the rims out and just getting quality tires..i think lookin mostly stock, but having a drop will be fun..as it is i can surprise people with thiscar,(i have srt springs) but with the changes, i want to leave their jaw hangin :)

so the hotchkis drop i3 pretty good as it is, so on a base neon it would be really low..as in tire fittin inside the fender? no finger gap?

is there any issue i will have with the hotchkis springs and the blues?? (sxt owner) i found a post in the search field saying that they coulnt get there hotchkis springs to work..i skimmed through the treads and i think they were just saying that he wasnt puttin them on right.. anyone clarify this ...

im just looking for more push out of corners..i dont need the blast of power from a turbo..i like tight corners not high speed ones.so the power of a stock sxt just isnt doin it..i can pull from a gsr with a moderate driver,(through some corners) but i still need more..i can only get so much speed o...

ive been considering picking up a spare motor because they are cheap..i dont want the r/t motor..ive always like the underdog..

so just start with internals.. sounds good to me

okay good..so adding compression,cam and bolt ons it can actually be a performer..as long as there is a stand alone...okay good...dont really need any more replies..

you need a rear side angle to show the dish on them sportmaxx....those are the rims im going to have by spring...with the 3 inch lip :)

the last time i felt something like this was when i put a 6 puck clutch in my s2000..there was NO slipping..it was either go or kill it..and if you could manage to slip it , the car jerked and bucked and jumped and it made you look like a novice driver.. although with the clutch i could chirp 5th ge...

clutch

so i bought my car at 45000 and i now have 95000 and running the same clutch..doesnt slip, but from rolling from a start it sometimes makes the front end chatter...why is that? and also, do these clutches usually last this long?

mine is just the club cab..two tone with the scooby type blue and silver bottom..best color combo they have.

Ive seen some myself running a 15.1..not too bad i think...if i get another car though, it better be faster than my neon :)

what do you guys think of those? im thinkin of sellin my 01 dakota v8 4wd to get one.. :twisted: i have the neon, dont want to afford the truck for gas...they have good power, good handling..they can run a 15 flat stock...(good driver of course)..but i do miss vtec..:(...i just love the way it sound...

i have stockers right now..so i wont be gettin the wider tires yet..i just bought these tires..so i will use em up first...

I think i will try 205's again, but pay 150 bucks more next time and get a REAL performance set.
